I didn't realize people still admitted to eating at those places. I can't even digest that ****.

Eat real food. Support a local business. Pack a lunch if you can't do at least one of those.

There is a sun sensor in the game's cartridge, which with this particular game sticks out beyond the cart slot on the GBA/SP. This sensor basically attempts to create a direct analogy of sunlight in the real world to sunlight in the game world (and I'd say it's reasonably accurate, in that even on a blazing day in July I couldn't totally fill the meter, up here in the North). You use the sunlight to charge your weapon, which then dispenses illuminating justice upon the undead. The sun will also change certain conditions within the game world, such as evaporating pools of water or somesuchthing. You don't have to be out in the sunlight to be playing the game, as you have batteries and charging stations to soften your power consumption, but you at least need it when destroying End of Level bosses (vamps).

That avatar still cracks me up.

The few multi-player games that were on Wario Ware, Inc.: Mega Microgame$ are some of the best portable games, for pure fun factor. This chit looks like distilled genius. I might buy the Wii for this one.

I got sweaters. Yes, that's plural. Some other clothes. A watch. And wine (plus a spiffy topper). And an outdoorsy book. And I actually like them all. Ugh.

I don't wanna grow up. I'm a Toys-R-Us kid!

General Gaming / RE: XBox360 getting a 1 year Warranty Extenstion

Sony only offered a 90-day warranty on the PS2 for years. One of the changes with the PS2-two was the extension of the warranty to one year. I think.

I won't be disappointed at all, because I'll buy it after a price-drop.

I knew this might one day arrive. The transation from entertainment machine to lifestyle device. Oh woe is the gamer. (Analogy: VH1 of music, to VH1 of popular bullscat. Reggie better be damn glad he didn't fuss with my VH1 Classic.)

Nintendo Gaming / RE: So is Zelda:TP GC in short supply?
« on: December 15, 2006, 11:19:37 PM »
There surely aren't "plenty of copies." I picked up what looked like the last copy at my nearest Best Buy late last night. Though their website says that that location is the only one near me that still has any. I got the price match--without verifying stock at the nearest Circuit City, because they hung up on the girl. Hahaha.

I'm officially joining the conspiracists on this one. It's obvious Nintendo has, at the least, given this game very low pressing priority. If they don't ship more copies before Christmas, I'm inclined to believe that they're even sabotaging games sales for the sake of the Wii. Out with the old, in with the new, if you can get your hands on it. To hell with 'the GameCube still has some life left in it.' Hope there aren't too many disappointed Zelda fans on Jesus Day.

We would like to play (Zelda, motherf^cker).

Amazon seems to not be selling this anymore, also. Unless that's a screw-up due to the release of the Wii version, it looks like they maxed out their allocation of GameCube SKUs and have cut off pre-orders. This looks a little grim. Hopefully some less popular channels will have copies stocked.

In manager mode, I trained all my players to eat a block of cheese before the big game. If they play well, we all have a celebratory Metamucil.

Best voice acting evar: No One Lives Forever.

"How about a... nice massage?"
"That would be divine."

Lol the homoscientists. The writing was exceptional, of course. But it would've fallen flat without the VA talent. Fox could've been big in the games industry with original IP. Stupid Fox.

On topic: I haven't considered an IGN review since Monkey Ball 2. Eat my codpiece, Matt Assamassina.

Uuuuuhhh...The N64 games, which are the ones that use the rumble, cost 10 bucks, You are probably thinking of the NES and SNES games, which don't use the rumble at all.

Also, unless the rumble was used in an unique manner, I doubt the rumble added to the nostalgia factor. Starfox 64 maybe, considering it was the first game to use it and all.

Oh yeah. So they cost even more. Well, let me tell you. If I even remember that the games don't have rumble by the time I get around to checking out the virtual console, I might be pretty teed off. Put them apples on your social networking site and sit on it.

I'll disagree because Sony is, well--****. I have a Sony home theater receiver also, and can attest that their low-end consumer electronics aren't worth the cardboard they're shipped in.

...Sony has been around forever.

So has Castro.

I'd love it if it had more emotional depth than SotC, but it's hard for me to imagine that happening....

I got about halfway through SotC and seen no emotional depth. It was "save the girl" and that was pretty much it with abstract cinematics.

Someone was born without any imagination. No one here doubts that this Zelda will have significant narrative, and almost certainly as much depth. But if you're going to knock SotC, come over to the Other Systems board. Just because a game doesn't have many cutscenes or any conversations with NPCs....
