Story post.

What's that you say? The story post has stopped posting story and only pictures of Power Girl? What's wrong with that? Well, no. I guess none of us have asked Power Girl how she feels about about us shamelessly posting her picture to up the appeal the game and cover over the lack of story. Alright. We will ask her.

Power Girl, how do you feel about us posting a picture of you every day?

I see. Well, we're still going to do it.

Announcement Post:

Only 1 more death to report.

Unclebob - killed by vote. He was The Joker.

Space Mafia hit failed!

With the Joker killed in the day vote, he was not alive at night to make another hit.

In other news, with the elimination of the Earth Mafia, the Space Mafia will now be able to make a hit every night so once again, they have a chance to kill a townie.

Voting ends at Midnight EST.

Shop is now open.
I made slight error counting points.  Ignore the first point total message. Everyone now has their actual updated point total, and the white ring is in its rightful owner's hands.

Auction items:
There was a 2-way tie for the White Ring, both bidding 20 points. To determine the winner, I flipped a coin.
The Blue Ring was won for 6 points.

Today's auction:

Indigo Ring -- Allows its wielder to change another player's vote upon use. Good for one use.

Black Lantern -- Pay close attention to this item: This lantern may only be used by a villain, but it can be purchased by anyone. The black lantern allows it's owner to revive one player using a black ring of his or her choosing.  Regardless of the side the player was on at the time of death, this player will join the side of the villain and carry over all of his or her abilities, as well.  Killing a player with a black ring is tricky: First, the player who wields the black lantern must be killed, and only then may the player revived by the black ring be lynched.  In the event Superman or Batman are revived with a black ring, the hero shop will hold Kryptonite and The Perfect Trap, ensuring that these players can be killed. A player wearing a black ring will only have access to the general and villain shops.

Remember, anyone can bid and win the black lantern, but only a mafia member may use this, and only while he or she is alive.

The winner of yesterday's best roleplay is currently undecided, which means one player will receive five more points at some point through the day tomorrow.  Additionally, I will not be updating point totals for players who died yesterday, unlike previous days.  If you are selected to be revived, I'll update your point total and inform you of your new total, which should save me a bit of work.

Can anyone yet say for certain that Vudu is mafia?

What does this mean?

Quote
has the ability to come back in the game once more.

He just comes back once to do one final mafia hit and is gone, or does he come back into the game full time once more? Back like nothing happened except if he dies again there's no coming back?

The latter. Also, whether or not he's back isn't announced. Think of it as Lobo Vol. 2, but it resumes the numbering of the first volume.

Just a heads up.  Khush and I came to a split decision, so GoldenPhoenix and Nickmitch were each awarded 3 points for roleplay.  GP's line about preparing for another plane of existence was subtle, but fit her character well.  Nickmitch wanted to be my pal.  A lot.  And so he won some there, with all those pictures.

A white light fills the sky and pierces the ground, creating a crater.

The light begins displaying flashes of red and blue, along with it's original white color.  Somewhere, somehow, a British man's tea goes sour.

Sundoulos, the fighting yank has been revived. He wasn't the Blue Beetle, and I'm a terrible person for suggesting he was.

Sundoulos has been given a task: Play more mafia.

Whether ShyGuy is alive or not, I can't say.  I can say that townies can vote for anyone who's been in the game, alive or dead. If the player is alive at the end of the day, the vote will count against him. If he isn't alive at the end of the day, the vote has been would be thrown away.

To be clear, because Sundoulos was in the original Justice League, and because he was revived by the white ring, the Justice League was reformed. It has all the original members in it.  I won't name them here for obvious reasons, but if you were previously in the Justice League, you're back in it.  It has the same ability it did before.

The fact that the space mafia hit fail could mean that it was for UB. In that case, the only active player that wasn't online to change the hit must have been GP since she didn't log in after the bandwagon started and was offline until the post right after mine.

"Can people that are voted out/kill during the night still win the auctions?"

If they are voted out, no. If they are killed in the night. Yes.

Turns out the answer is yes to both scenarios.

You've just witnessed a downside to dual hosting. Thatguy wasn't around so I figured I'd answer the question. Since a mafia member or Killer can not make a hit if they are voted out, I figured a person wouldn't be able to win an auction item if voted out. But I guess thatguy is working on a different premise. Thatguy is handling all point matters and I just haven't asked much about the rules or paid much attention to that aspect becuase I had other things to work on. So, that's what I get giving an answer before knowing all the details.

Now go about your murderous business.

Orange Ring - Doubles all points a player receives. Permanent, one-time only item. The orange ring will double bonus points and points from killing or voting out other players.

Does this ring also double the points one gets from others viva gifts? Forgive me if this was already brought up but I just realized how UB got all his points.
