Just quickly sharing info before I resume sabbatical,
- No "main game" standard multiplayer; no taking turns, no splitscreen SEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
- Menus utilize the IR pointer for navigation THANK ZEPHOS
- Co-op takes the main game stages and plants obstacles in the field. One player surfs the board, second player uses the Remote as a light gun to destroy the obstacles. 9 rounds per clip, unlimited reloads. Doing both by yourself is crazy challenging.
- Music is awesome, I like boarding to it.
- Boarding is difficult for fine movements given our bodies' obtuse movements; one's pace is slower to achieve carefulness; difficulty curve through the early stages feels justified and tailored to Board play; great challenge.
- Didn't try Wii Remote controls. Didn't buy the game for such gameplay.
- Main game includes "Marathon Mode." Play 30 stages in succession. Stage intros and Goal animation/replays BS are eliminated. As soon as you cross the Goal, the screen fades to the next stage (about 4sec transition) and you're immediately playing (some cases it's like hitting the ground running). Enjoyable, continuous play. 3 sets of 30 stages available.
- Visuals and audio are top-notch monkey stuff, as usual.
