Curious to what platform everyone will choose. I'm going 3DS here.

So does it seem more like a puzzle game or an adventure game? I know Zelda is typically a mixture of both, but from what I've seen it looks like the game is segmented into stages where you complete the puzzle of going from top to bottom (or vice-versa) in order to get to the next stage.

Having just listened to this episode yesterday, hearing Gui's prophecy on today's Nintendo Direct come true blew my mind. :Q

Bring Metts a new pair of pantaloons! As it appears he has shat himself.

I hope this trend doesn't continue and we get 90 minutes of nothing. I know E3 is more for the investors than the fans, but c'mon man talk about some new stuff.

Mass Effect or a Bioware title in general would certainly add core credibility to the console.

I wonder how the multiplayer will work with online with multiple GamePads? What they showed was asymmetric gameplay. Do I need more than one player to play? And if so how will that work online? I can see one person playing right off the Gamepad; but I don’t see how a singular player can manipulate two screens just to move one character on the TV and slash the other on the screen. Maybe I’m making this too hard? I’ve never played Rayman, but this exclusive has caught my attention; let’s see if it can hold it.

I don't think they mentioned online co-op yet have they?

As sick as I am of birds in my video games, the art style in that game looks really pretty and unique.

I thought I was done with Assassin's Creed games after the second one, but that trailer and demo had me drooling. Watch Dogs seemed kind of neat, especially the atmosphere and look of the game. Let's hope I can pick up both titles for Wii U.

Not too excited for this game to be honest. Seems like a tech demo that will be lost and forgotten 6 months after Wii U's release.

The controller looks neat. I wonder if some games will allow the use of the controller and some won't like the Wii does with the Classic Controller.

I wouldn't mind seeing these two in a real fleshed out console game on Wii U.  Maybe take the KI:U approach and make it totally different than its original and maybe make it a full 3D game with a story, cut-scenes, voice acting, boss fights, ya know, the works.

For a more silly approach, I would love a Wii U revival of Sheriff. Make it Nintendo's Red Dead Redemption.

This screams "Stay away 3rd party developers!"

Let's hope this idea is still on the drawing board.

The demo alone was worth a dollar or two, I'm going to be picking this one up for sure.

As of now, I don't believe that WWE '13 is coming to Wii U. Their site only shows the box art for the Wii, PS3, and 360 versions, as well as only listing the three consoles at the bottom of their page.

Great show! This was my first E3 prediction episode and I thought it was really interesting. I hadn't really realized how bare the known 3DS game lineup was until you guys mentioned the 4 or 5 big titles that have been announced.

I personally think the Wii U will steal the show at E3, and I can't wait for all the coverage!

TalkBack / Re: The Importance of an RPG Mode in Mario Tennis Open
« on: May 25, 2012, 05:20:57 PM »
Although it was another well written piece by Alex, I was disappointed that he ultimately didn't pick a side despite the title indicating that this was going to be a pro RPG-mode article.

I think that the people that really heavily bash Mario Tennis Open for not having the RPG mode really need to take off their nostalgia goggles because in my opinion, the RPG mode was okay at best and was only fun  because there was nothing else to do in the game. MTO has online and Mii customization which in my opinion, was a greater use of time and resources by Camelot than what a RPG mode would have added to the game.

Is this game out in the US? I thought it came out on the 25th. Guess I got to pick it up tomorrow.

Yep! It came out this past Sunday. My Gamestop had 10 copies, 8 for people who preordered, and only 2 for people that didn't. Thankfully I scored one of the two!
