TalkBack / Re: Is the Name Really That Bad?
« on: June 09, 2011, 10:42:01 PM »
im a nintendo fanboy they could call it a turd if they wanted and make it brown and lumppy.
i'd buy it. but the snobbish HD crowd sees Wii(anything) as kiddy mass market
Shovel ware crap console.
They had to break away from the Wii name, and didnt.
The hardcore, will not buy a add on hard drive( i dont mind) or put up with SD cards.
and will never buy a Wii.
When the hard core game stop selling in the beginning of its life cycle, and
they quit making the Dark siders II or Ninja Gaiden games, we Nintendo fans will
be left with a Wii HD and have to buy a 360x2 or Ps4 to get the other games.
Im so over the multiconsole gaming,
So it matters because they want the hardcore but tell the hardcore, Look at out
Kiddy/ family friendly stuff.
wont happen, but im excited and like i say i welcome the Turd HD.   ;D

TalkBack / Re: My Thoughts: Two Wii U Controllers at Once Possible?
« on: June 08, 2011, 06:13:09 PM »
I get the name now.
Wii controls, or U control.
For split screen, u have Wii remotes, and for one player, U controler
OK, still stupid but it all comes together.
Or just ask and if they refuse to answer then we can assume only
one WiiU controler at a time.

TalkBack / Re: Nintendo Reveals Wii U Coming in 2012
« on: June 07, 2011, 05:30:04 PM »
I dont like the name, the design of the controler, or the $450 price tag with
$150 controllers.
Ok, nothing confirmed, but nintendo makes a profit off their systems,
so figure they will pass the buck.
But as a Nintendo fan, i'll get it day one like the 3DS

LOL yea, i get really tired of the negitive sometimes.
yea, im the first to say, wait! dont get very excited about project cafe. its nintendo
after all, they will screw it up!
Like the strange brother u have, u still gotta love them.
Im in day one for the N Stream but i know nintendo will nickle and dime their
way outta the hardcores sites.
Love my 3DS even though im playing my XL more.

TalkBack / Re: Nine Things Nintendo Needs To Do With Wii 2
« on: May 19, 2011, 12:18:49 PM »
I love my Nintendo, but lets be practical, Nintendo will screw it up.
Power that looks good Next year will look old 2yrs from now when the new XBX and PLAystation come out.
storage, dont count on it, we see from the Wii it was beyond them to even offer
a HArddrive solution, and the hardcore wont go for expensive SD cards.
online, look at PSN, enough said??
simply put, Nintendo will nickel and dime themselves into being obsolete
from the get go.
I love my Big N but a lepard never changes its spots.
 Dont get your hopes up.

TalkBack / Re: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Impressions
« on: May 15, 2011, 10:14:49 AM »
Nintendo power said they gave the ocarina its own touch screen button so u dont
have to equip it to use it. Just hit the touch button, little improvements like that will make
this great game greater.
Have mine preordered, for months now.

TalkBack / Re: 3DS eShop Launch Delayed Until June
« on: May 13, 2011, 10:33:32 PM »
Im a Nintendo fan, but folks, lets not get our hopes up.
this is the company that has made a living from the bare minimum.
Chances are the delay is all "security/backend stuff" and we the consumer
will be looking for the delay reason.
to be honest, im suprised it will have netflix streaming.
im assuming netflix did all the work there.
dont look for anything big , that way you wont be disappointed.

TalkBack / Re: The Best 30 DS Games
« on: May 07, 2011, 09:28:49 PM »
Sorry NWR neal
my words were not ment to be fighten words.
sadly as i said reviewer like the game, and no one buys it.
happens all the time on nintendo.
The points system is a very fair way to do a list, but as u see, some games get
high positions, and others of equal quality lower, and some very good games
get omitted. As for the list it was a good feature, sorry my comments were far between.
and perhaps upsetting. i never ment for that to happen. Just stating the sad state of
 affairs with nintendo.

TalkBack / Re: 3DS Battery Tests
« on: May 03, 2011, 07:07:55 PM »
I wonder if there is any difference in whether u are suspending software of pauseing it.
Example im out and my battery light goes red.
Do i have better standby if i hit home and close the lid  compared to closing the lid
with the game running.
Is there a difference in time available to get to a power source?

TalkBack / Re: The Best 30 DS Games
« on: May 01, 2011, 09:24:40 AM »
And this is why Rockstar snubs the Nintendo systems. Reviewers said this is a good game.
no one buys it, then when the best of list go up, it doesnt get a mention.
sad, truly sad.  The only way i see a rockstar game on a Nintendo system here
on out, is if nintendo gives rockstar dev kits free and pays for developement.
nintendo doesnt fund third part franchises, so at best look for
a shotty port on  the N Stream and that also will not sell.
Cant say as i agree with your list but its fun to look at. For a LAUGH!

If GTA China town wars is not on the list, this list is incomplete and thus VOID
to to lack of proper content  We shall see, 6 chances left.
i feel it was ommited though.

TalkBack / Re: Rumor Round-up: Nintendo's Next Console
« on: April 17, 2011, 07:30:34 AM »
any pie in the sky rumors, dismiss.
like more powerful then the ps3, i see nintendo using 360
like components cause its refined now and cheeper, but  unless
nintendo plans a bulky psp2 like device for palm of hand 3d games,
count out an expensive 6in touch screen.
Nintendo goes minimum, so 360 level i see if they can sell it for a profit.
remember, all the proto types nintendo had for the wii controller, so some
of these controler ideas will never be mass produced. and yea, i see GCN
support being dropped, please nintendo, use HD disks.

So i've never been a fighting game fan, always tried a few, but found them diffecult
from the new person view point.  So will this game ease a new player in,
or throw them in the deep end with the sharks.
I hear its made to be an entry level friendly game, but they had the best players
in the world help them test it.
for a historically none fighting game player, is it worth a purchase, or stick
with smash bros.?

TalkBack / Re: 3DS Sales Have Slowed Down in North America
« on: April 12, 2011, 11:14:22 AM »
There are a number of factors that go into this slow sells.
in the U.S. people look at the cost and say, wow. its more then the Wii.
i'll wait for a price drop or newer verion.
i'm enjoying my DSIXL and can wait till some games i want come out.
i hear that 3D thing is bad for ur eyes.(yes a person asked a school teacher who
mistakenly confirmed the 3ds would hurt their  eyes.)
its a DS. whats the big deal.
As for japan, well PSP is like 129 and 3ds like 250 (us prices, but still u see the difference)
and with the tragity people in japan are like i'll play monster hunter on the psp and do the 3ds
thin g later.

TalkBack / Re: 3DS Memory Total Revealed
« on: March 31, 2011, 12:02:13 PM »
Memory is the point. i heard 64Mb system ram, perhaps they split it as its 2 chips
one for os and one for game data.

as it appears, u r making assumptions as to the split.
and remember, the XBOX had 64MB, no one complained about that.

TalkBack / Re: Duke Nukem: Critical Mass Still Set For DS Release
« on: March 25, 2011, 07:15:51 PM »
i asked about this game at my gamestop today, he said they dont even have a listing for it.

so like other games i want, they probably put it in the DS game hell
zone of TBD. or indeterminate release date.

TalkBack / Re: Reggie Fils-Aime on the Garage Developer
« on: March 24, 2011, 12:43:32 PM »
the difference could be explained like this.
Renegade kid works outta there home offices, if they dont make quality
games they dont eat, so quality and value is important to them.

a Hobbiest, has other support so is likely to try a bunch of ideas of little value til they get their "angry birds".  Lets see if any of this sticks
attitude.
The difference is dedication.
the way i see what he says.
