With this and Paper Mario2, Gamecube is finally getting an RPG boost.

Plus Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos and some new FF game.

In addition to Skies of Arcadia Legends, PSO I, II, and II,  and Crystal Chronicles. The Gamecube has a mighty nice RPG scene building up.

I also noticed that this game's battle system looks like the one from Final Fantasy Tatics. Lets hope this is true

I actually saw this about 2-3 days ago.

I was gonna inform everyone except ... I had school and umm ...Zelda to finish.

Anyway I cant wait for this. I will be honest here... I got Fire Emblem for the GBA ...emulated. And I played it to the end ( almost ) ...then I just stopped. I spent about 20 hours on it ...more then any hand held game ever.

I am hoping to buy this leggaly because an emulated version is nowhere near as great as the real thing. I found this out when I bout Link to the Past for GBA.

Anyway back to topic -

I hope the game turns out a little bit darker then this. I mean Nintendo need a franchise that can sorta replace Zelda ( the darker one ). I hope they dont rush this game. I also hope they have cut scenes ...( not like the ones in the GBA version ) where you can see the vast fields of Theilus.

I expect the battle system will be like that found in the NES/SNES/GBA games. But this is where FFT and all those other console SRPGs got the idea so I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Holy Jeebus yes! There is a God and he loves Cubers in America...I hope.

Seriously, could this weekend get ANY better for us? I doubt it. Although I was ecstatic when I saw that RE4 AND MP2 come out with a week of my birthday. ^_^

Fire Emblem supposedly sold 75,748 in November (it's launch month) and 111,728 in December.

It freakin' better be. I need to get the GBA game. I rarely beat GBA games though. I don't know why. I still can't beat Bowletta in Mario and Luigi and I have a few more levels to beat in MM0.

finally, more RPGs are coming that actually interest me for the Gamecube.  As of late, i've been fairly pleased with nintendos' lineup.  First RE4, now all these RPGs.

Hmm... I just looked at a new(I assume) screen shot at IGN, showing a character close-up.  It's rather blurry, but it looks.. interesting.  It looks almost cel-shaded.  I sure hope it is, as that would complement the style of the game well (and, by the way, it looks nothing like the cartooney Wind Waker - it has its own, more realistic style.

I swear I will KILL the next person who gives a negative undertone to the toon-shading used in Wind Waker...I'm sick of hearing it... -__-

I'm with you, Bill- I'm sick and tired of hearing people talking down to Wind Waker's cel shading. I wish they'd give it a rest.

Also, nice new avatar.

Um, what?  I said nothing negative about Wind Waker's graphics.  I said they were cartooney.  Geez.

Cartooney is ALWAYS used in a negative connotation.

Then how is it possible that I, in fact, like Wind Waker's graphics?

In any case, I was merely pointing out the differing styles that are possible with cel-shading.
