I'm just hoping that they include dual-audio (space is clearly not an issue, as 360 RPGs have had dual-audio), because the woman who does the voice of Marta (Rie Kugimiya) is my all-time favorite VA...

I doubt it will happen. It was said in an interview about Tales of Vesperia for the 360 that Namco had no plans on including the option to switch to Japanese voice work in that game, so it's very doubtful they'll do it for this game either.

What? That makes even LESS sense considering they left dual-audio in Eternal Sonata (another Namco 360 RPG)...I'm hoping it just means they don't have enough space in Vesperia....

Well I read about it several months ago so I might not be remembering it wrong. Plus Namco has said recently that they will keep Vesperia's main theme "Ring a Bell" for the North American version, that is a good sign that game will have a duel audio option.

But even if Vesperia does have Japanese voices in it, that doesn't mean Symphonia 2 will have it as well. I mean Namco had no problem announcing they'll be keeping Vesperia's theme "Ring a Bell" in the North American version of Vesperia , and yet, they've said nothing about keeping Symphonia 2's theme "Three-Legged Race" in the North American version. If they're going to keep the main theme for Vesperia and not Symphonia 2, then it's makes me wonder what else Namco might decide to keep in Vesperia and remove for Symphonia 2. $:-\$

It's Namco after all, they've done crazier thing in the past so nothing would surprise me.

Of course speaking of Symphonia 2's theme, "Three-Legged Race" does anyone know who's singing it? That voice and music sounds familiar for some reason but I can't quite put my finger on who's doing it.

The singer for Vesperia is doing the localized song in English, that's why...

"Three-Legged Race" is sung by misono, who sang "Starry Heavens" in Tales of Symphonia, as well as the song "VS" for Tales of Tempest...

Well that explains why it sounded so familiar to me then. Haven't listened to "Starry Heavens" for a few years now so that would explain why her voice was ringing bells, but I couldn't quite remember the song.

I wonder if they are going to add voice acting to the skits? We get to see some back ground on Marta. Do you think they will increase the number of enemies you can fight in a area? According to that video you just click on the area that you want without any fights in between.

Fighting is dedicated to dungeons (strictly with the running monster avatars). Dungeons will probably be more fight-intensive then.

As the video showed, the skits do have voice acting.

Confirmed: since ToS2 is coming out in the states mere months after the Japanese release, voice acting has be cut out. It only makes sense that Namco wouldn't put in the effort.
