TalkBack / Re: Pushmo Review

Thanks to all the positive words goin around about this game I decided to pick it up as my first e shop purchase.

This is exactly the sort of software the eshop needs to go along with the classic, great original portable games, a higher quality than most of what is out there on the iOS and at what I think is a fairly decent price point.

Have to say I prefer the Pushmo title to "pullblox" that we are stuck with here in europe.

Podcast Discussion / Re: RetroActive #21 Poll: GBA Ambassador Edition
« on: January 07, 2012, 10:40:13 AM »
I have voted Fire Emblem as it is the series I know the least about, so naturally I would love to know more. Sucks that I cant play along with any of these as I only have a 3ds and did not purchase it during the time before the ambassador program.

Looking forward to to playing along with a non GBA retro active or hopefully nintendo will hurry up and put these games on the eshop I would buy a few of them in a heartbeat. I love retroactive and as a long time listener its a great feature which really adds to the depth of the RFN show helping it to satisfy all my modern and retro needs.

I will be picking up Mario Kart or Zelda before the end of the month, so I can get kid icarus as I will be buying both those games at some point anyway

I still haven't picked this up but when I do in the next month or so I fancy getting the limited edition with gold wii remote plus. So I'm just wondered exactly how "limited" is the limited edition? Is it likely to still be available in a few months?

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Amazing Deals!

You guys seem to get some amazing deals. Much cheaper than anything I have seen over here, even when you take into account the currency and other factors.

Just wondering as a UK gamer do UK deals ever get posted on here? I have been looking through the last few pages and can't seem to find any deal.

Only way I managed to pick up some cheap Wii games recently was some pre owned games from Game. I got Zack & Wiki for a fiver and Xenoblade for a tenner, both in great condition. Also picked up Pikmin play control and Warioland but neither of those particularly cheap (£13 and £15 respectively). They were all labled clearance on my receipt and in general it almost looked like the store was trying to reduce its already tiny amount of Wii game stock even further.
