This is an entirely different show. It was cancelled in '94, if memory serves correctly. It's affectionatley known as "SatAM Sonic."

I remember also reading a children's book about Sonic a long, long time ago (mainly pictures with a bit of text). I can't really remember it too well, but I think there was one about Mario too. Maybe Scholastic books?

Sadly, I only own Pipe Down or whatever it is called. At the time those awesome books were coming out, I wasn't really aware that there was a whole slew of them. Maybe there's a library out there somewhere that has those books....

...whaddya mean "letting me slide"? This show was an American production released by DiC over ten years ago. It is about as far away "conceptually" as you can be from the others, given that the newer Sonic shows are Japanese in origin, and pretty crappy to boot.
