The first issue of the re-design doesn't have the DVD.  The NEXT ISSUE will, as stated on the nintendopowaa promo site.

So the first one that one that I'm getting for free will have the DVD? Or will I get the one PaleZer0 is talking about.

You will probably get the one Pale is talking about.

Speaking of which, I like the new layout and was very satisfied with this issue.

All the DVD contains is the Twilight Princess E3 trailer, which most of us have already downloaded. Not really enough enticement, imo.

You're forgetting "AND MUCH MORE!" which probably means high quality versions of other E3 trailers (and maybe stuff from the press conference, which is a stretch).  Considering virtually all the Zelda trailers on the net are either poorly encoded/compressed or have a filesize that's much bigger than it's worth (wasted bandwidth, yes that includes you, PGC), seeing these trailers ON TV, with near-source clarity, is very welcomed by me.

I want to see the Geist trailer.

The ad at the end of the new NP says it has more clips, including "Viewtiful Joe VFX Battle, One Piece, Nintendogs, and More!"

Yeah...that was the impetus for me.  The ability to watch the Zelda trailer on my Grandmothers big screen tv.

Hopefully they'll include the other two Zelda trailers as well, for spits and higgles.

Hmm I've been subscribing since 1989. I've seen the magazine slowly change to what it is today. It was always a great magazine and it only seems to keep getting better and better. I was actually printed in that magazine three times. One a letter from a topic called games you have bought that werent like anything you expected. And two envelope arts. The change Nintendo Power pretty much reflect the companys new image. I have to admit its more appealing! Nintendo Power forever! Oh by the way does anybody have Nintendo Power Volume 98 and 109. James Bond on the cover for Golden Eye 007 and the other has Banjo Kazooie I believe. Those two issues had my artwork printed in them. My Dad decided to take them to show to others. As Months and Years came to pass. He lost them. So Please help me. If anybody has those issues please tell me and maybe we can work something out.

Just checked, Volume 98 has Star Fox 64 on the front, while 109 does have Banjo Kazooie on the front... so yes, I do have both as well.

I dont know what the exact issue number is for Pierce Brosnan(James Bond) Golden Eye on the cover is. But if you have that and volume 89 with Banjo Kazooie on the cover. You'll be my savior. Please  Arbok I'll do anything but please dont make me pay alot. Out of the goodness of your heart keep it reasonable for sentimental sake. Give a proud part of my life back!

Isn't there a way to order back issues from Nintendo?  I'd try that first.

Store.Nintendo.com offers that as a "back issue" for $5.50. No clue if there's a CD in it though.

Heh.  Well, I guess I'll find out in 5 to 10 business days.

But, if I had to hazard a guess as to whether or not I'll be getting the CD with the magazine...I'd say no.

It will still be cool to read up on Smash Brothers "before it was released", ya know?

Well no you cannot order that far back its too late. If anybody has those issues please let me know. We can work something out. They are Nintendo Powers Magazines. One is with Goldeneye 007 on the cover and the other volume 109 with Banjo Kazzoie on the cover. Those two issues has my art work like I mentioned earlier. Please if anybody has them E-mail me or message me on Yahoo my name is exactly the same. I'll get back to you then. Please help.

Yeah, the backorder list only goes back to the issue that has the SSBM CD with it.  Its the earliest you can get.

I may have them.  I stopped subscribing to Nintendo Power sometime during the early N64-era.  If I do have them, I'll send them to you if you still need them.  Only problem is, they're at my parents' house, which I won't be visiting for at least 3 weeks.

I been a subscriber since 1988 LOL. Even before nintendo power it was called Nintendo Fun Club news. It was a small mag. I have 3 issues from that. So I been getting nintendo power for 17yrs straight and have every single issue.
No pics in sigs.
