Don't worry guys. EB Games Australia has had the WiiU at $600 since the day after E3. Prices at this point are pure speculation.
@ThePerm The PS3 at launch down here was $1000. The Wii was $400
Or places should wait until January to actually do their GOTY awards, which is the most sensible option.
I've tried it sitting or standing, seems about the same for me. The puzzles are very good, and I like how the overworld blends right into the dungeon. Item discovery hasn't been too predictable like other Zelda games either.
Money and health seem harder to come by, and the upgrade system with resources is a new twist. In some ways I like it better than TP and in others I don't.
I demand a Retro developed 2D Metroid. But I suppose that could be for Wii U, Wii Ware, 3DS, whatever. I just demand one. Or six! Six is better.
Yeah Yosh they did that with Twilight Princess, one of the big complains among the staff of Twilight Princess was they didn't WANT to maintain a constant realistic style because it constrained them. A balance was struck between Wind Waker and Twilight Princess in style. The Zelda staff like to make creepy Tingle people who dance around in green leotards, hang from balloons and spread confetti. If you don't like that stuff then you are an unusual Zelda fan.
i don't have censorship on, why is **** censored?
Just read an announcement from Reggie stating that Wii U will be completely different than Wii and that the players buying Wii U games will also be different meaning that they will have moved up from casual to hardcore. It's probably old news to most, but it blew me away completely especially after playing Nickelodeon Skyward Sword. People have no idea how excited I am for Wii U. I've been Nintendo since day one and well when Wii came out it was just like wtf so to see them say Wii U will be the opposite I'm so hyped.Link or it didn't happen.

This is typical PR gibberish. They always say stuff like this every time. It means nothing and Skyward Sword is epic!
It's epic, but you have to admit that those flying pirate things and the Leviathan boss looks like something you'd see on Nickelodeon.
Yeah the Leviathan is right out of Spongebob /Avatar

It will probably be the last game I buy for Wii considering how big my back log is too.
Not to mention that the Wii U will be out two months later in June 2012 (I'm hoping).
Supposedly the best RPG of the gen version regardless of console.

For those of you who don't like the motion controls, would this game be more forgiving if the sword motions and item control were mapped to a 2nd analog stick? (example: for sword fighting, left to right analog control movement for left to right slash, up to down analog control movement for up to down slash, push-in analog stick to do a jab motion, etc)
I hope they maintain this more detailed sword play in future iterations somehow, instead of just mashing an "A" button when the opening comes.

Well, this is an interesting rumor: Xenoblade's been marked (apparently) for an April release as a GameStop exclusive.
Huh.
I hope that "exclusive" is just some extra content and not the whole game.
Not sure they would want to re-use the name of their worst-selling console.
