In the wake of the first leak , we were able to get hold of a video of Rayman Origins 2 , which confirms both the name of Rayman Legends and the new direction of this episode.
We thus find the mythological worlds and mini-games, along with a new graphic style rounder, additional characters and online play. But the most interesting interactions comes to Wii exclusive U, allowing the player using the mablette interact with environments and even placing objects - a heart, in this case - on the touch screen to restore life the characters. The end of the trailer even suggests that one could ask for inviting characters figurines Ubisoft at the party. Since the original video has been removed from YouTube by the editor, there is little doubt that Whether it is a genuine leak and that the company would have liked to keep it for E3 .
It uses asymetrical multiplayer where the person with the uMote can manipulate the gameplay.
it uses NFC where you place objects & characters on the uMote to affect the game.

the video is at the link. watch it before it's removed.

I am liking that last idea. Placing things from the real world on the Wii U controller to affect the game world should have some fun applications.It also could have some changes in the difficulty as well.That should please everyone.

Also from the video, it looks like an outward facing camera may have  been spotted on the uMote

Holy ****, those graphics....

Someone tell Nintendo that THAT'S what a 2D side-scroller should look like with a modern graphics engine and some imagination.

Thats the Data cord.  It was mentioned in the E3 stuff when they got to play with the uMote.  Not to Surprising for the dev units to be able to be tethered.  Think about trying to test with a lot of different systems in one area.  I'm sure its power too.  Be cool if the retail version allows for that.

Nintendo didn't develop either of those games. Also, I said "modern graphics engine" so those games on a paltry Wii CLEARLY don't apply. /troll face

Looks pretty cools, still only one uMote though.

I noticed that too. Considering the way they showed the tablet controller functioning in terms of multiplayer (moving platforms), I haven't given up hope that 2 or more will happen.

Didn't they actually announce last year at E3 that it had a outward facing camera? I am fairly certain of it.

If they did, I would have expected BlackNMild to know since he's our treasure trove of Wii U info. If he missed that info, I demand that he be punished severely.

Gosh DARN IT. This game wasn't accounted for in my Wii U Launch Budget plan AT ALL. *grumble grumble*

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Hopefully this game will make Nintendo step up their game with whatever Mario project they've got for Wii U. Both games have the capacity to be the system's first great platformer.
This is where I would write something witty or funny if I had any ideas.

I am getting this one for sure.  The game looks awesome.  I wonder if that Ezio figure at the end will have anything to do AC3.

From what Iwata said, the WiiU launch will be massive for at least 2 months straight and hopefully (as he states they learned their lesson with the 3DS) a lot longer.  Having at least 1 high profile game per month (and preferrably 2-4), it would definitely be a sign they learned from the 3DS.

Goodness, did the 3DS launch even last a month? I remember walking out at midnight feeling bad because I didn't care about getting any of the launch titles... but if the Wii U launch lasted a month or two with some good, quality titles to lead into the next year, that would be righteous.

wow, didnt expect to wake up and see actual WiiU gameplay footage today.  If there was ever going to be any leaks, I figured it would probably come from Ubi Soft.

No. There was only mention of the inward facing camera, but there was much talk by everyone about the potential of also placing an outward facing camera, such as AR games and things of that sort.
