Get this game.

That is all.

I'm waiting for the game to be released on other platforms like Wii U/Vita/PS4. I try not to buy 3DS games when possible, since multiplatform releases will tend to be superior on every other platform.

For me, 3D makes all the difference, even for games like RE: Revelations or Shovel Knight.

A GBA Virtual Console wasn't feasible on 3DS because of the limited hardware, right? The Ambassador Program GBA games don't have the 3DS OS features available in the background as do true Virtual Console releases.


So... there's this New 3DS now, with super-duper better processors. Why the hell is there no GBA Virtual Console on New 3DS??? Does anyone know? I can't imagine that this updated framework can't emulate a 17Mhz ARM processor from 2001 in addition to running its normal operating system functions.

I don't want another touch screen device, period. Unless they make a full on dedicated gaming tablet that doubles as a console and portable with HDMI out then I don't even want them including touch controls for backwards compatibility or DS Virtual Console.



I'm more concerned about having a standard controller option. For example, I have a bucket of controllers for my Wii U. They are all shapes and sizes: Wii Remotes, Nunchuks, a Gamepad, a Wii U Pro Controller, a Gamecube controller, and a Wii Classic Controller Pro. I would like to be able to say with confidence that I could play any multiplayer game on my Wii U with at least two players. But that's not true because of this crazy ass control system that Nintendo has added onto over the years. As for my Xbox 360, on the other side of the entertainment center, I have two controllers. I can play any two player game on that system (and a lot of original Xbox games) with those two controllers. So, about $350 in Nintendo controllers almost gets me what I could have for $90 in Xbox controllers. Truly, NX needs to trim the fat.

I had weird issues with a y-cable setup. Sometimes the hard drive would not boot up with the console, or it would seem to boot but with no connection registering on the Wii U. I would have to unplug, do a hard reset of the Wii U, then plug the HDD back in while the Wii U was on. Also there were some HDD issues when I had a controller charging on one of the other USB ports while the hard drive was connected. I don't have that Wii U anymore, but when I buy one again I will definitely use a HDD with its own power source. BTW this was a Toshiba HDD, not some generic. That being said, I do believe that there are good options out there either way based on the testimony of others. I guess the biggest thing for me would be having that extra USB port available or not.

When did this TD game release? Never heard of it and I would love another TD game on my 3/DS.

Back before 3DS launched, I believe. Good luck finding any info on it. And it's hard as ****, but Image and Form said they have at least one person in their group who has beat it, so it is certainly possible!

Give Steamworld Tower Defense a shot, if you enjoy the other Steamworld games. It's one of the best DSiWare games IMO, and surprisingly challenging.

I have a Lumia 635 and I love it. I've never liked Apple much, mainly because of lower storage capacity and iTunes. And Android is a clusterfuck of bloatware, poor battery life, and crappy hardware drivers and firmware support, in my experience. Windows Phone was a breath of fresh air. I do almost no gaming on it, but there are a few that I like (ilomilo, pixel blocked!). And the integration with Windows, Xbox Live, and MS cloud services is really helpful. More apps would be nice, but lack of app development is far from being a deal breaker for me at this point (6 months in).
