That might've turned out to be Dragon Quest Swords...maybe. But yeah, here's hoping they'll release it in the west. I know it sounds like an obvious move, but I 'unno man, Nintendo's been weird ever since Sarah gave him some weed. It's like he's not the same person anymore. It's ruining his-oh what? Yar, I'm definitely a newbie DQ fan. IX bored me at first, but that nagging RPG craving came crawling back as it does, and I went back to it and loved every minute of it. Didn't fart-arse too much with the end game stuff though...too random. Got close to finishing...VI I think. That other one with all of those seperate story lines gave me the poops. Gimmie a party and lemmie stick with it!

TL;DR. I'ma buy this fo'shiz.

I hate it when obvious revelations like these happen not through Nintendo's own mouth for the sole reason that they want filler at E3. "We know, get on with it. What, you want people to clap for you? Bah! >_>"

The gaming community is in shock this morning as thousands of games journalolygists' bodies were found in a mass heap after committing what police are suspecting was a mass suicide. The cause? Not false promises of fake, magical afterlife lands full of chocolate, oh no... Close friends and family of many of the dead have mentioned that their loved ones were suffering from a servere form of depression after attending the E3 gaming expo of '91.

Resident famous-yet-useless psychiatrist Bobby Bobbob predicts that once after having experienced the magical wonders of the Nintendo Gamecube, then being forced to return to Mischief Makers for hours on end, with its constant 'Shake-Shaking', no matter how entertaining, just could not compete to the awesomeness that had been experienced mere days beforehand. Cindy Spreadum, a useless-yet-somehow-still-in-business prostitute discovered numerous voiced recordings of a one Jonny Metts of Planet 'Kewbs which backs up the claims of Bobby. Cindy was adamant in clarifying that she had no professional business relationship with Johnny, and that she simply saw an opened window and wandered inside, like flies to a fresh, steaming pile of bulldog vomit.

...That's not to say that Johnny's room smells like vomit.
End.
*I was tempted to add a link to a Youtube clip of a dog having sex, followed by it vomiting, but felt it might've been inappropriate. Just search for 'dog', 'sex' and 'vomit' for lulz in the 'Tewbs.*

TalkBack / Re: Wii Play: Motion European Release Announced
« on: April 29, 2011, 02:55:28 AM »
Y'see, I'm the oposite: I've recently replaced my launch Wii, with its dying disc drive, with a shiny, sexay black one. It came with a black WR+ and I really, really don't want a red one complementing it. Methinks us Aussies will be thrown in with the European stuffs as always. Most unfortunately. Most.

61
Methinks it's just another Tales game, 'cept a lot less special than the Gamecube's Tales of Symphonia. I'ma buy it regardless, as I quite enjoyed ToS: Dawn of the New World, despite mass opinion. I didn't play the GC version by the way, so that probably has something to do with it.

« on: April 29, 2011, 02:46:32 AM »
The game is being completely remade with polygonal awesomeness though, yeah? ...Unless you mean by the only exclusive content being the 3D effect, is that this game is also being released on other platforms, in which case I'll proceed to have a cry about it. $2 on iPhone? Piss off. >_>

I've not touched the Nintendo downloadable versions but have blown through the freeware version a couple of times. I'll have no problem paying for this, considering I'm an importer and am already saving butt-tonnes of money anyway. Not such a huge deal taking slight risks, ya know? Let's hug!

*Edit*

I should also mention that I've yet to play the downloadable versions due to the fact that our release schedules 'ere in Aus are screwed. No Shantae for us, no sirree! But hey, in May, that should all change, given that I went the import route this time. *Flips of Nintendo of Australia* The entire US DSiWare at my fingertips! ... ...So, just Shantae then?

I absolutely adore this game. Sixteen hours 'til perfection on both mission and free flight modes. I started with a Guest Mii profile, then decided to make my own and started again after earning the Diamond class. That one last gold ring is one many people have trouble with. Gamefaqs helped me with that last one I'm afraid. Some of those Mii Trophies in the town were a l'il tricky, too.

Hardest mission for me was taking those three photos. Ugh!

I'm fearful that he means the camera will perform as little dynamic positioning as possible. Instead of having a nice overhead view of a platforming section, it'll be positioned in an awkward spot, basically forcing people to use the 3D. Too bad the damned effect doesn't work for me, eh? >_> I think it was one of you RFN crew who said that they'd be creating a problem just to fix it using their gimmick when talking about that tech demo last year at E3 and how they'd expand on it... Something to do with platforming and ropes or something, I dunno. Digression! I'd be happy if he were just comparing the camera control system to that of the Galaxy games where user input is minimal if any at all. Those games were pretty-much perfect when dealing with showing you what needs to be shown.

66
Actually, there's not a great deal to look forward to third party-wise. I'm hoping for some Castlevania goodness at E3. Oh gawd, I want moar Metroidvania!!

The Crossings of Animal has always reminded me of a shittier, less rewarding version of Harvest Moon, so I've steered clear of it ever since playing the GC version for two hours. Paper Mario? **** yes!

Superfluous appreciation post. Thanks, thesaurus!

Cool idea! I have absolutely nothing of value to contribute though, unless you guys accept empty gum wrappers...and built up sweat (at least I think it's sweat) gunk from my mouse. I think I might buy one of those Link shirts. Totally epic.

No wait, isn't the U.S. box the same as ours, only much slimmer? *Nods* I'm pretty sure the U.S. is the same size as the Japanese one, of which Danny (Japan correspondent) did an unboxing here. Dull grey box? Maybe you got jibbed, mate.

My Amazonian 3DS is expected to arrive on the fourth. Hurry hurry!!

Eeep. Looks like I'll be stealing the comments section again to ask Bowser a question. Woo!
Are you using your Australian DSi charger for your American 3DS, mate? I'm a little paranoid about whether or not it'll blowed it up on me. :-3

Funny thing is, is that they did the exact same thing with Super Mario 64 DS.

How do you mean, Scatt-Man?

They introduced Yoshi, Wario and Luigi, forcing you to choose one of the characters to grab a star or two in every stage. I don't think the following example ever happened when I 100% the game, but you could imagine the frustration if it were possible:

"Oh no, I'm stuck with 93 coins! Where can I grab 7 more? If only I were Wario so I could break those damned orange bricks which contain tonnes of coins. How was I supposed to know there were less coins in the sky as Mario with his flying ability than Wario in those damned orange bricks?"

Granted, there were Wario (+friends') hats in the stages, giving you their abilities until you took damage. I'm not sure if they were in every stage though. In that regard, it's not as frustrating as Yoshi's Island DS. I'd probably like YIDS a lot more if they just stopped forcing me to replay the damned levels.

Definitely in the exact same boat as Neal here. I've attempted this one twice, enjoying it more on the second try, but still giving up. The stupidity of forcing you to play the same stage multiple times with different babies, not allowing you to change on-the-fly was the biggest turn-off for me. That, and the lack of items. Got hit at the end of a stage? You used to be able to whip out a +20 Star item and be done with it. Now? You'd better hope you can die somewhere, or you'll have to play the whole stage yet again.

Funny thing is, is that they did the exact same thing with Super Mario 64 DS.

Or, imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi. I'm in Delaware.[/wayne's_world_referrence]

Yep, I hate stealing the comments section, going off-topic just for little unimportant things 'n stuff, but I think I recall seeing a $25 coupon thing somewhere in my checkout page. It mentioned that it's only redeemable 48 hours after the 3DS has shipped though, but it's no biggy.

Most unfortunate about your delay, buddy. It's probably Nintendo of Australia's ghost spirit haunting you with even more annoying delays. G'luck mate!

Ah pooey, I take it the US community don't recieve these articles, yeah? Ignorant bastards!!  ;D I feel somewhat star struck talkin' to the Australian correspondents. Needs more filler from funny NWR members. I'm nervous!

I did it! I cancelled my order with the Dick Smiths (heh...'dick') and just ordered the console, Street Fighters, Steel Drivings and Pilotees from the Amazons. Nice ladies, I must say! 2 - 5 day express shipping is surprisingly cheap, too. I'll cry if our dollar drops to $0.22. It feels good, bro, to finally be rid of those gnawing, opressing shackles that is Nintendo of Australia. LET'S HUG!!

What do I do about the power supply?!!!1shift+1  :confused;   (edit) My XL charger should work, YEAH!!

In creepier news, the phone representative from the Dicks lives in the same small, piss-poor out-of-the-way suburb that I do. Woah!!
