The fairy is your cursor,  so it will be quite important.

It doesn't look like it'll attract attention to itself.

It just floats idlely next to you. (I hope)

"I don't even care for "Twilight Princess". It would be nice to have a new Zelda name that didn't just consist of two unrelated nouns jammed together. "

Two unrelated nouns?  Wind Waker:  One who wakes the wind, which is what Link did in the game...Twilight Princess:  Twilight is the opposing realm in the game, and Zelda is the Princess of it...  They make sense to me, and I'm sure this game's title will make sense too...

I think Nintendo is just using the DS to show off.

Seriously, online MK, AC, Tetris, Metroid. A new SMB, and now a Zelda which looks very akin to its GC predecessor in graphical style.

The DS is rapidly becoming the console to bury all others.

Demon Sand would be better than Phantom Hourglass, but as we all know "phantom" is a more acceptable term than "demon" in Nintendoland, so it ain't gonna happen.

Also, polygons suck. 2D is better. Especially on the DS.

But I'm happy anyways.

this blows. i havent even played the oracle games, OR minish cap...now i have to rush out and buy those three titles, and probably links awakening while im at it because i have no clue where mine ran off too before i play this. meanwhile i just got Mario and Luigi: superstar saga and i want to play thru that without rushing it, as well as partners in time. im really picky about my gaming sometimes, if i dont do it chronilogically it bugs the hell out of me.

The complaints about the name remind me of the Penny Arcade comic about Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow.  The Legend of Zelda: Puppy Helmet, anyone?

And I was just kidding about the name needing to start with DS.  I actually think Phantom Hourglass is a good enough name, although it could use a The.  Or does it have a The, and everyone's just leaving it off for the sake of brevity?  I guess I'll find out when I finally have time to digest all this news over the weekend.  I haven't even seen the video yet.

Yeah, Link's Awakening is definitely one of the best games on any portable platform. What I really liked about it was how it didn't take itself too seriously. There are inside jokes everywhere. That being said, the ending is still pretty poignant.

I didn't get it until years after it was out and on a flea market. Mostly because the ads just left me confused WTF a "Zelda" is. Some Gameboy game guide included the game and unfortunately spoiled everything for me.

-well maybe you missed what i said, but i've already owned links awakening and played it to the end many times, on the other hand i've never even touched the oracle games or the minish cap, so i'd rather play thru those first since i've already had my complete Links Awakening experience.

Bill just gets excited sometimes.  He won't rest until everyone on earth has played Link's Awakening.  (Link to the Past is better.

Hey, I never said I didn't love Link's Awakening.  I do.

I just love Link to the Past more.
