Make a show about a monkey that steals things and causes relationships to burn because of it. No one ever sees it. Call it Monkey God or Devil Monkey. Sell T-shirts.

Made that up as I typed it.

I meant no one ever sees the monkey. They just notice their **** missing and it tears families apart. I'd watch it.

Trailer's out for With Bob And David. The whole season goes up on Netflix November 13th. As someone who just got done rewatching Mr. Show, I am so pumped for this.

ONE PUNCH MAN

This is an anime but that thread is pretty dead, so I'll post it here.

If you like super heroes and the super hero genre, you'll love this anime. It's only in it's infantcy with two episodes and a third coming on Saturday, but so far it is pure gold.

It's about a super hero who can defeat anything/anyone with one punch. The animation is great, the pacing is superb, and it is downright hilarious at times.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

I'm surprised by just how well done this show is. It feels as slick as a movie sometimes.

Marvel & Fox join forces to bring us not 1, but 2 new X-Men related TV Shows
http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/marvel-and-fox-will-join-forces-to-bring-us-two-new-x-men-tv-shows-294

and not a single mention of how Fox gave up Fantastic 4 to make it happen....

edit: Screenrant speculates that this news may be related to the recent announcement of 3 new MCU movies in 2020. http://screenrant.com/marvel-tv-fox-hellfire-legion/3/

edit2: DenOfGeek seems to "confirm" the above is true, and one of those 3 new MCU movies is infact Fantastic 4 related, as Marvel got the rights back to not only the Fantastic4, but to all they were attached to as well (Dr. Doom, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Super Skrull, Kang the Conquerer, Annihilus, etc etc).
http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/fantastic-four/37372/fantastic-four-back-at-marvel-movie-planned-for-2020
(story also posted in MCU thread, but thought I would update here for those that don't check there 1st)

Man, I wish there was a way to watch Ash vs The Evil Dead tomorrow. Starz needs an online version that doesn't require a cable subscription.

Rolling Stone Magazine reviews Jessica Jones
 http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/10-best-movies-and-tv-shows-to-stream-in-november-20151027?page=2
Quote
Marvel's TV outings, both on network TV and on Netflix, have been hit-or-miss affairs, but the fourth time is the true charm: Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is the superheroine the world has been waiting for. Part Buffy and part Veronica Mars, the titular character is a former superhero-turned-private investigator who's struggling with the residual trauma from an abusive relationship. We'll leave it there for now, but it's safe to say that showrunner Melissa Rosenberg has no intention of wasting her chance to use the language of fanboys as a means of dismantling rape culture. This is undeniably the current crown jewel of the company's small-screen roster and possibly the most interesting thing they've done since the dawn of the MCU. Don't miss it.

Here's a look at Legends of Tomorrow:

It looks to ramp up the cheese and fun factor that The Flash brought to the Arrowverse.
I'll check it out, but I'm going in with NO expectations other than it's cheesy and meant to be fun.

I will not focus on all the issues time-travel will have on EVERYTHING related to this show. I will just consume it for what it is, and how that Arrow continues to lighten up a little to fit in better with The Flash and now LoT..

I do hope they take the time travel element seriously. Doctor Who can cheat around it by means of "wibbly wobbly timey wimey" (plus being the "parent show" so it can get away with it) but Legends will need to clearly establish how this works.

I also need to start Jessica Jones this weekend. And The Man in the High Castle.

Vandal Savage and time travel just seems like a bad idea to me.

Vandal Savage is not really known for super strength or anything.  He is a Lex Luther type villain that is even more dangerous because you can never kill him.  He can scheme infinitely because the reality is he can never die.

All anyone would ever have to do is time travel back to when there was less advanced weapons and kidnap him removing him from the time stream all together and then he would not be a threat.  However, if he gets a time machine then it is game over you could never stop a true immortal with a time machine.

Superman roflstomps Batman trailer is up.

https://youtu.be/fis-9Zqu2Ro

As usual it appears to give away the basic plot.  Not that it's one that couldn't be predicted after several seconds spent in thought.  Or we can think positive and hope the trailer is a misdirect.

The (presumably) big bad is also revealed in this trailer so if you don't want to know then I suggest avoiding it.

Civil War is my pick of the 2 big ones coming up soon, but I'll still be in there and seeing this.  When it comes to superheroes I'm laughably easy to please.

WORST TRAILER EVER!!!!!

Talk about ruining the entire movie.  But seriously, they should have just called this movie Trinity.  And give Wonder Woman a bigger role.

And presumably no...that was the Big Bad...and it is obviously who it is...and they are foolishly using that villain WAY, WAY too early in Superman Mythos for these movies.

Hey you're more than likely correct.  I was just trying maintain a sense of optimism.

And I completely agree that they are wheeling him out FAR too early.  Considering what this villain has done throughout their history I would have though this would be a villain they would build up to.

I'm actually less excited for the movie now. They could have stopped that trailer about half-way through and it would have hyped me up. I could feel the hype draining from me in the second half.

I want to like him. Except I keep thinking it is a pre-accident Joker character because he behaves how I would expect a proto-Joker would in this situation. "Ooh! Two powerful and colorful characters who don't get along! Let's throw them in a cage together and see what happens!"

It almost feels like we saw two movie trailers. Do you think there is a chance that they put the trailer together special combining both of the planned films together? I'm really hoping something bigger comes out of the final first film because at this point they popped the excitement bubble.

I agree that they showed too much. They should have kept the trailer as Bat v Supes conflict.

They not only showed the Big Bad, but revealed how we got him and everything. Should have saved something for a few extra trailers closer to release.

Yep. Lex definitely doesn't seem very Luthorish in this.

I wasn't very hyped about this movie to begin with, as I am a MarvelMan, but I was certainly interested... MoS wasn't the best, and this certainly isn't hyping me for an opening night/weekend viewing and much less a theater watch at all.

edit:
and Batman has a gun!?

Supes looked JACKED, Bat look HUGE, and Wondy don't look all frail...

but I'm not sure what to say about [Big Bad Revealed]DOOMSDAY!!
Looks kinda like Lizard from Amazing Spider-man fell in some TMNT Ooze

I'll still watch it, but I'm not "HYPED" for it like I was hoping i would be.... I'm not even lowercased "hyped"...
but Suicide Squad trailer wasn't doin it for me either, so I hope they do better w/ WW and Justice League.

The Flash on TV has been pretty damn good though, but that's a topic for a different thread.

I think that character you don't want to mention looks like The Abomination from The Incredible Hulk. Perhaps said character will evolve, like in the comics.
I think it says on the box, 'No Hispanics' " - Jeff Green of EA
