There is probably some really good data to come from a clash like that that Disney could capitalize on.

Looks like it might not happen after all.

Rumor/unconfirmed source:
DC may have already backed down and moved release forward 1 week to end of April.

Potential Good News for Fans of the MCU

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/03/14/fox-looking-to-dump-fantastic-four-director-screenplay-and-recast-six-months-before-they-are-due-to-shoot/
Quote
I’ve learnt from a rather well-connected source that, as the title says,  Fox has dumped Fantastic Four director Joshua Trank and the script by Simon Kinberg and are actively looking for replacements. Six months before they are due to shoot, for 2015 release.

Oh, yes, and there are now casting issues from the studio too.

No I don’t know any more. Isn’t that enough?

I know. Maybe they could ask their Official Consultant, Mark Millar…

I don't know about you, but I'm excited.

I don't get the hate the first Fantastic Four movie gets, it was a great movie, the sequel was a disaster though maybe it's just guilty by association? I hate how they are rebooting things too fast to keep up anymore.
Trying to be a better person, honest.

I didn't hate the first movie, as I think Human Torch and the Thing were well cast and worked well together, but everything else was pretty forgettable.

The hate for Fox rebooting and trying to continue the franchise is that we want Marvel to have the rights back, mostly for Dr. Doom, and all their cosmic enemies (Galactus, Silver Surfer, Super Skrull & Annihilus), not so  much the Fantastic Four team itself.

The first movie was horrible. The second was horrible-er. Actually, aside from the Doom team-up, the second was probably better, but that's a low bar to reach for.

Disney just announced Incredibles 2 and Cars 3.  Plus Star Wars VII will be thirty years after Return and focus on the old cast and a trio of new leads.

Agree there.

Though I felt the first movie worked great as a Stand Alone.  I really can't imagine as good a movie coming from where that left off.  I could see an at the very least amusing TV series.

The movie was like an origin story for Disney's first Super Hero Family (...not the Fantastic 4)
No one really expected a sequel, (even if we wanted one) until it was announced that Cars was getting a sequel first... Cars was arguably their weakest movie up to that point (which is now Cars 2). And then Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo (findiing Nemo!?) were getting sequels.... OUTRAGE!!

Of all the movies that Pixar has made, outside of Toy Story, The Incredibles should have been the first one to get a sequel, or an animated Saturday morning cartoon, or some form of follow-up.
And Brad Bird is coming back to Pixar to make it happen too.

Saturday Morning Cartoon would be my vote.  It just screams something that could really be fun to do that way.

I would've like a Saturday morning cartoon based on the Incredibles universe, but when the characters were young.

THE TERMINATOR OF SUPERHERO MOVIES.

THE VERDICT

With a mix of effective character moments, viscerally thrilling action, humor, intrigue, and surprising heart, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of Marvel Studios' strongest entries to date. This one is in fact a game changer.

A Jem and the Holograms feature film is on the way from director Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never) and producers Jason Blum and Scooter Braun! The trio made the announcement themselves with the below video, posted just moments ago, in which they reveal their unique (some might say "truly outrageous") approach to the property, asking for creative fan submissions that will wind up a part of their big screen release.

Jem and the Holograms

OMG!! I CANT EVEN, WHATEVER!

Weirdness... The American Idol style/wanna-get-famous-Youtuber casting is an interesting gimmick that sort of works with the show, though.

At least we will always have the Josie and the Pussycats movie.

I hate to admit it, but I thought the same thing earlier...

I was thinking, damn, she's hella cute.... like a young Michelle Phieffer.... oh wait... isn't she like 12 though. LOL

then this pic surfaced, and now she looks 12 again.

I think it's the smile bringing out the cheek bones. Made her look more mature in those pics.

The Penguin actually looks pretty cool. Gordon is eh... Bullock looks like he is wearing a costume, but Donal Logue is always awesome.

Bruce doesn't look stoic enough. He needs to have a Damian from the Omen edge to him.

Selina got in to her mom's makeup kit.
