Slash the price on Wonderful 101 if you buy Pikmin digitally.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/34948

European Wii U owners who purchase the digital version of Pikmin 3 from the eShop will be entitled to a 30% price reduction on Platinum Games' upcoming title, The Wonderful 101.

This promotion will run from July 26, the launch day of Pikmin 3 in Europe, to September 21. The discount code will be redeemable upon the release of The Wonderful 101 on August 23 and will be eligible until the aforementioned date in September.

No word has been given on whether there will be a similar promotion in other regions.

Considering prices i have to pay for shipping this deal makes it a very good proposition for me.

Only now i have to sort my USB hard drive situation i guess, cause while i have extra hard drives i need to free them for exclusive Wii U user.
Winners don't hate and W101 rocks

I am Sad that Nintendo of America will probably not do this deal.  Because I may Combo UncleBob -> Shin -> Pikmin -> Wonderful 101
Need a Personal NonCitizen-Magical-Elf-Boy-Child-Game-Abused-King-Kratos-Play-Thing Crimm Unmaker-of-Worlds-Hunter-Of-Boxes
so, I don't have to edit as Much.

That's great, it's just a shame that Nintendo digital prices are ridiculously over-priced to begin with.

Really? They're identical to the regular store prices. Sure, some stores go down by up to 5€ but not even consistently.

Even if the download prices were identical to the retail prices (which they're not), they would still be too much. Nintendo saves a ton by selling directly to the consumer with no manufacturing costs. Would it hurt to share some that huge saving with the consumer? If they did, they'd probably get a lot more sales too.
