I mentioned it in the SNES Classic thread, and I'm not sure if there's too much interest here, but this topic will see. The idea is a community playthrough of EarthBound, just in time to celebrate the launch of the SNES Classic (And promote my youtube channel.)

But if we're going to do this, we're at a crisis point: What are we naming things at the beginning of the game!
We've got to name a boy, a girl, a nerdy guy, and some weird foreigner from somewhere over in Asia. Also, a dog, a favorite food, and a favorite thing.
Submit your ideas and votes! Don't make me choose!
The event will begin next Monday. 10/16/2017, though I haven't picked a time. You don't have to catch the stream live, though! Or even watch it at all. I'll be posting more information in the upcoming week, and listening to any ideas anyone else has along the way. So pick some names and things, and let's see what all we get. And feel free to toss out ideas for challenges, points of interests, and all that.

Also, if it isn't clear, try to avoid spoilers for now! Some people **COUGH**KHUSHRENADA**COUGH** haven't even really played the game yet. There's a first time for everyone.

Well, since I'm from the evil universe, it was really a good plan over there. Regardless, I had it. The plan involved taking Khushrenada, and using evil (Or good, where I'm from) laser beams and science, as well as technology, and trapping Khushreneda INSIDE one of his posts. For Khushrenada cannot be killed by normal means, but that doesn't mean there aren't other ways to defeat him.


However, someone stole my plan. They used all the evil (remember, this stuff is good where I come from) machines I had built, and they were able to take my plan to banish Khushrenada into one of his Funhouse posts, possibly for good (I suppose in this case, that would be for evil in my universe).


So the long and short of the story is, Khushrenada is alive and lost somewhere in the Funhouse. It was a good/evil plan, but it was mine before it was stolen. I thought I'd do the right (wrong) thing and tell you all about it, so at least I get some of the credit in the end.

Four players remain.  One of whom is mafia.  The other three?  Zombies. Heroes, bent on stopping Imperiex's plan to destroy Earth and create a second Big Bang.  Will the mafia player prevail, allowing Imperiex to clear the universe of impurities?  Only time will tell.

A friend of his bought the new 360 slim and he knows that he is notorious for hating on the xbox brand, but that system looks really nice. He prefers to stay with Nintendo and Sony, but if he could afford it, he would buy it just play Gears of War, Fable and Reach.
 
He really likes the aesthics of the 360 slim and hopes Nintendo incorparates something similar with the wii 2. He means he likes the button layout and functionality and pretty much everything about the system.
 
Yhe biggest question that he has is will Nintendo allow an internal hard drive to be used with the wii 2? He likes the little compartment for the 360 slim and wishes to see it for the wii2. Of course, Nintendo might allow the option, but require that the consumer buy the hard drive from other sources and plug it into the wii 2 console.
 
He attributes most of his malice for the machine to the RROD.

I felt there was no other forum fit for it.

How many of you have ever had those flavored tootsie roll things?  There's a lemon one, a lime one, and orange one, a vanilla one, and maybe a few others...

But I love them, want me some more of them, and have to know who else does, and where they are.  Anyone?
