Top 10 Wii U Games: Year One. 2nd Edition.
« on: December 03, 2013, 01:09:17 PM »
We've had a year of Nintendo next-gen. What are our favorite games?

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/feature/36107

We're through November 2013, and that means that Nintendo's latest console, the Wii U, has made it through one year. It certainly was tumultuous with delays and low sales and assorted chaos. What matters most to gamers are the games we played with the system, though.

So, we put on our game-loving caps on and picked out our Top 10 Wii U Games for its first year. Enjoy our list of the favorite games we played with our Wii U's between the system's November 18, 2012 launch and the end of November 2013.

10. Measuring the dust collecting on your Wii U. What's your high score?

9. Calling Nintendo's customer support and asking where are the games.

8. Counting the days until E3 when Nintendo totally shuts down the naysayers.

7. Complaining to everyone about the disaster E3 was. What's your high score?

6. Trying to onload the system off at Goodwill under the cover of darkness in case anyone sees you and makes you take it back.

5. Using the Gamepad to turn on your TV to watch a program and then use it to turn off the TV when done.

4. Quickly trying to hide the console before friends come over and they realize you aren't good with money.

3. Trying to donate the system to a third-world country where it will truly be next-gen.

2. Posting messages online complaining about the various issues of the console. What's your high score?

1. Holding the gamepad while your TV and system are turned off and pretending you are playing a game on the XBox One or PS4 instead.

Let me be clear. I'm not saying that the NWR staff doesn't care about readers. Only the KDFN Wire staff. However, I guess with the parody being so close to the original, I get why you would see that. I'll edit to avoid confusion.

This article is horrible.  Your list doesn't even mention staring blankly at the WaraWara Plaza watching pictures & messages pop-up.  That's my number 1.

I think I've asked this before, but Neal is your avatar from the Green Day Insomniac booklet/poster?

Well, thank you. Since the other thread has been locked, then I will have to admit to poor judgement there. As I always try to do, I will take the advice and lessons I learn and use it for future posting to keep making a better Khushrenada on these forums.

With the Talkback 2 name, I was hoping we would see a few more threads of fake news articles which is why I mentioned I was hiring reporters. Some things may be too subtle. Like the link I posted in the news story. It doesn't link to the real article. Who knew?
