I didn't think the soundtrack was so bad. I think it fit the game pretty well. Besides, my brother and I were too busy screaming "HHOOOOOOLLLLY SHIIIIIIIIIT!" and laughing to even pay the music any attention.

True.  But some death metal rockabilly would have fit even better.

You think with the big push of SD support now nintendo would be like "You can play your DSi tunes during your wii games now!"

But dammit, I want Wiispeak support.

If this game had Wii Speak support I would scream EXCITE to annoy people oh well looks like that plan is gone.

Wii Speak is such a useless accessory, why do I even own it.  Hell by the time summer roles around and I finally have some free time I bet no one will even want to play Animal Crossing with me :(

I'll play with you!

I'm dissapointed that this game won't support the music streaming off the SD card cuz i loved having my own custom soundtrack in ExciteTruck but its still not the biggest loss... i could always just blast my ipod in the background since you theres only 1 sound que thats really important in the game (overheating) and i can just get used to keeping an eye on the speedometer.

I'm not bothered by the lack of wii speak support because i'd probably be too busy laughing or shouting "OH ****" whenever EXCITEable stuff happens.

If your only definition of "metal" is "play the guitar really fast" then yeah, it was metal.

This game is looking better all of the time. I don't usually buy games on the release date but this one is really tempting me. Considering I still play Mario Kart Wii to this day, the thought of obsessing over another online racer makes it difficult to pass up.

About the only thing the game is lacking is a track editor, which still seems kind of strange to me because that was a big part of what made the namesake of ExciteBike.

I've recently gotten addicted to the MK online so I too am wondering if I should wait a bit on this one. Though this game does look different enough from MK that I'd still enjoy it.

Sorry  :-[
It wasn't that bad. I won three of the four races and two of those wins were relatively close calls. One I only pulled out by a hair. The only one I dominated on was that last Bowser Castle race and something crazy happened on that one because you abruptly fell really far behind.

I didn't feel safe on any but the last one so you kept me on my toes.

Wanna play again?  ;D
I sent some poeple ghost challenges. Ghost races are fun.

I wonder if there will be ghost races in ExciteBots.

Whatever they would come up with would be inferior to Trackmania.

I've seen only a date for North America, that's it.

That doesn't matter to me because TrackMania isn't on the Wii.

So EXCITEd. Been wanting this game since it was announced a month or two ago.

To Flames of Chaos Speed Racer had a very noticeable amount of auto-steer and the controls wouldn't adequately work without the auto-steer.

Even disregarding the auto-steer Speed Racer doesn't have as demanding a track design as the F-Zero games had in terms of turns.

I own and enjoy Speed Racer. I'd even like a successor (not a sequel because I doubt they'd go to the trouble of using the Speed Racer license again) from the same developers using that engine but I don't want auto-steer in an F-Zero game and I still think tilt controls would detract more than they would add to an F-Zero game.

To Plugz, its out on 1st August in Europe so a little while to wait to get moist for this one unfortunately.

I'm not sure that'd make sense since EB is about score, not just getting to the finish as fast as possible. The ghost may be ahead of you but that doesn't mean it's doing better.
