2. Matter of an opinion. Theres no proof.
3. Even if this were fact, instead of opinion, PS2 is matching GC, so how does that make it the winner?

I know, I just find it disturbing the this some how makes people feel better for some reason. Maybe becuase up until xbox came out in Japan, gc was doing badly in japan, but having xbox there made them look good, without actually improving.

Never the less the title of it onces again proves my theory. And its not that Germans love David Hasselhoff. Its about nintendo fans hating the xbox...

That must have cost a fortune. I only 15 so I'm proud enought that I scored this tv here:

for only $200. Its not hdtv but compared to my last tv this flat screen is a big step up. I don't have a gc but now having an s-video hook up also helps alot for my xbox. My last tv didn't have that feature either.

Is it true that you start to notice alot more jaggies though on an hdtv, becuase you can now notice them with all the clarity?
BTW I didn't know gc supported Doly Digital sound. Or else why did you expect a plug for it?

Look at the name of the forum. You answered you own question. Of course people are going to read too much into it, and make assumptions, so that they can feel better about themselves, whether they want to believe thats what there doing it or not.

I don't seee the problem with an companies who make electronic related products to be invovled in the game industry. All companies are out to make money. I just think MS gets a bad rep in the computer world becuase there #1 and everyones gunning for 'em. I didn't have an opinion about the computer stuff, since thats not really my thing. Didn't sway my purchase in the least.

Yeah, I mean I just seem to notice alot of xbox dissing around here, and I wasn't sure what of it is serious or not. It feels more like xbox vs. gc then xbox vs. gc vs. ps2.

Here I went that other topic, and pulled out the worldwide sales, which is what I think you intended to post.

January Hardware Sales

PS2: 448,000 (-84% over December sales)
XBOX: 164,000 (-84%)
GCN: 81,000 (-87%)
GBA: 266,000 (-88%)

I wouldn't suggest you edit you post though, unless you changed the title, cuz I don't think gc fans would consider that very uplifting.  

Wait a minute something is fishy now that I compare the two. The first artical you posted said PS2 push 2.5 million units in one month! Are you sure those numbers arn't consoles shipped? Not sold?

What are your theorys?

Think its a combination of a few things. That Xbox recently secured the number two spot. And that Microsoft has started to appeal to the mainstream gamer, somthing nintendo has yet to do. The third is that PS2 is so far ahead, some are just looking for a fight, and the only forseable contender they can go up against, is Xbox, so that is what they went with.

Any thoughts?

p.s. Lets try and keep the discussion civil, so this doesn't get closed. Lets just have some intellegent conversation.
