If this were real, which I'm doubting it is, I'd be tempted to buy it, but like others, the inability to easily transfer stuff between systems, or, better yet, share things between systems makes this nearly impossible.

If I could share, I'd be buying this and putting one upstairs in the bedroom and the other downstairs in a heartbeat.

This is the bundle I've been talking about.  Nintendo is finally adding in more real value to make the Wii more worth it's current price at this time.  Now if they'd just add in one more controller, or perhaps a black Wii-Remote w/ Motion plus edition of Wii Play, they'd definitely see a lot more interest in the Wii...


...Wait, didn't they just say that again, the Wii couldn't keep up with demand?

None of this would surprise me if true, though if stores are breaking release dates then that would be very weird. I'm pretty sure that Nintendo would not be happy about that...

Too bad there's no price sticker in the pic.  I'd definitely like verification that the price remained $200.  Are these stores offering lower prices on the base Wii package now, too?  There seems to be little point in that remaining $200...

a white Wii stands out against everything in just about anyones AV setup and black would look so damn cool with the bright blue light sitting with  all the rest of the black AV equipment, including the TV.

Some people like their consoles white, and others like them black. I personally think the best console color is metallic/silver/platinum. When I got my GC it wasn't the standard fruity purple color, but rather the platinum edition which was awesome. I also got the platinum GBA SP and later a platinum DS Phat.

Now all I have is a White Wii and a Black DSi. They don't match, but they are never seen together so I guess it doesn't matter. I just have those colors because they were all that was available, but if I had a choice I would definitely go with metallic.  Black or white may or may not match existing setups, but grey/silver will go with anything.
