Those are not next-gen trees!

Other than that, the game is looking really, really good.

The lighting in pic 8 looks great.

The wolf jumping in pic 10 gives me goosebumps.

they use bloom effects to hide the low res textures, and that is working allright for me. It's a very unique and pretty style

As cool as this weird blurring and polarizing effect is... I'm kind of bummed they went away from the black and white.

Me too.  Does ANYONE know where to find a high-rez version?  Because the trailer is just awesome and gorgeous, but the resolution is terribly small.

None of those shots are in 16:9... meaning they are from the gamecube version?
That is a FINE looking gamecube game.

Do we know if the Wii version has a 4:3 mode?  SSBB screens suggest 4:3 is a possibility.

These screens are 4:3, but they're slightly shrunk, hiding the information you'd get from a pixel-accurate screen grab.

This game is beautiful...there's just no way anyone in their right mind can complain about the game.

Mantidor, Nobody seems to know for sure. Matt over at IGN seems to think not since there is no way to control Navi.

I imagine Navi was brought back to help you get accustomed to the controller, otherwise she's not in the GC version and apparently not part of the story.

or am I mistaken

Well, Aunoma said in the EGM interview that navi was a feature and not really a character in the wii version, but now I dont know who to believe.

i like the different cursors they use for their games that use the wiimote as a pointer; well, the two that they showed anyway. mario galaxy has the star cursor and TP has navi floating around (which does look better than the star). i just feel like any other developer would use a generic target cursor or even worse, an arrow cursor like a mouse. atleast these two make sense in their games
