Sounds like they should offer the game for free seeing as how it's just an ad to pick it up on another console...

I am curious if it is a single big level or what. It kinda seems like a playground where you are basically playing a Mario Godzilla game. Mario goes around doing little chores to earn "stars" or whatever currency you got...and a timer goes off and evil Bowser comes and you have to fend him off and then go back to work.
It also seems there may be places you can only reach during a bowser attack which is also pretty intense. Something tells me it will be a short bonus game but it looks fun.
chuck the moon from Majora’s Mask at foes, ... more seriously than the lunacy of the prior game.
It's weird, I work at a major Walmart and we got no copies in at all (it's not even in our system). Maybe it depends on the area you live in. I ended up having to get it at Target.
Importantly, the controls in Sunshine have been deinverted. They did not make it an option, however, so if you like the original controls, it’s your turn to be annoyed like the rest of us have for 18 years.
Why didn't they remove the white background in the "A's" of the logo
Has anyone ever made an "It prints money!" .gif for the Switch?
I need to test to see if I can put the wetsuit on a wand outfit and go swimming that way.
I've found your reaction pretty fascinating and wonder how many other first time LA players might feel the same way.
From thoughts I've seen on other forums it seems to be quite divisive. The majority opinion in my experience is praise though.
I have no doubt that if I had played it in previous releases I'd be drawn in a lot more with the nostalgia factor. I can certainly understand why classic players love it. But it's just not for me.
Pretty much the same here. Playing it for the 1st time on Switch, Link's Awakening just feels like nothing special. The puzzles and action were better in the Oracle games, and those were on the GameBoy as well (albeit the GBC).
What's this about hijacking text messages? What does that have to do with the Nintendo Network? I don't understand.
That happened to me last night, but once I got past the error code, I was able to play normally. The code kept popping up, however. I'm wondering if it's related to the Tetris Maximus thing, where there's an extra tracking feature on your wins for the purposes of the competition. The update came when that got announced, and the error along with it, so that makes me think they're related.
I don't think any of the newcomers are broken. They gave a number of veteran fighters stupid buffs and options, though.
Nice to see buffs across the board, more or less.
2.0 patch hits soon, and I'm curious if the major rev bump will mean fighters get tweaked (nerf/buffs). I was kind of hoping that they would let some more time go buy to really see how things settle before doing that. A lot of folks complained about the newcomers being broken, but honestly none have seemed that terribly unfair. I think the unfamiliarity throws folks off.
I mainly play with Link and can do really well with him but it'll be tough to clear 9.9 I think. Hmm, I wonder what minimum level you need to start at to get to 9.9 by the time you clear the last stage (assuming no deaths). Is it 5.0? Or can you reach 9.9 while still starting at 4.5?
The counter goes up depending on what your health percentage at the end of the fight is. If you perfect a round with 0%, it goes up an entire 1.0 points. I think if your under 50% I think it still go up 7-9 points. When I used Ganondorf I started at 5.0 and had it up to 9.9 by the second to last fight.
So I imagine you could start at 4.0 you could still get it up to 9.9 by the end. The key thing to remember is using a Smash Ticket doesn't dock your points if you continue so hopefully you have some saved for the last fight. Master Hand and Crazy Hand were insanely cheap on 9.9 and I had to use 3 tickets to complete it but since they were tickets I wasn't docked anything so I still finished at 9.9 despite dying three time in the last fight.
