This game is supposed to come out in 2003 according to PGC release date charts and the IGN "Biggest Games of 2003" list.  Yet, practically nothing is known about it.  If this isn't in video form or even showcased at E3...well...ummm...yeah.

This game might be Nintendo's biggest title for 2003.  Nothing much is known about it, so it seems Nintendo wants to shroud it in secret.  Along with Pikmin 2, Mario Kart: DD, and the already released Wind Waker, it looks as if this year will be great for first-party titles.

Don't forget this game is being developed by Namco so it might be more up to them to release more information on it.

It has to be better then the subpar SFA, but Im not sure I like my Star Fox to be so "arcadey".

StarFox is traditionally arcadey.  What's your point?

I'd much rather have it be "arcadey" than have is be like Star Fox Adventures.

Well, i don't mind that its coming out 2004, we have a busy year with other games too and its good to have Fox kick-start the new year next year.
Hope we see something good at E3.

I wonder whats taking Namco so endlessly long, they began development in very early 2002. And F-Zero is only a couple months away.
I guess Starfox Adventures is gonna be really huge and awesome and therefore takes so long.

Well, if it slips into 2004, it indicates Namco's putting some serious time in.  Let's hope they use good voice actors, unlike the 64 version...

IGN did say it was prolly for 2004, especially since Namco has to make the Arcade version first

Actually, bonestormer, since Star Fox is Nintendo property and it will be published by Nintendo, it's up to Nintendo as when to disclose information to the gaming public.

If Matt from IGN is to be believed... Silicon Knights' game for E3 will not be Too Human, rather something else.

BTW, even if Star Fox Armada is to come out this year it nevertheless won't be the biggest Nintendo title of 2003, Mario Kart: Double Dash!! will hold that throne

I'm talking about in terms of sales. Mario Kart will sell more than Star Fox, and most games on the GCN for that matter. I'm quite sure of it based on N64 sales

im hoping for more deathmatch arenas in Star Fox Armada, as well as another submarine level (and improve the tank some ... tank levels rock) and of course, an über-challanging 4 player co-op mode... mmmmm.. Star Fox Co-op (LAN, maybe?)
I'll shut up now...

I am inclined to believe that, as all the E3 things have said Silicon Knight's mysterious game, rather than Too Human.  I don't think that there would be all the secrecy about the title if it was merely Too Human.

Nah, I seriously doubt that.  Eternal Darkness was a success among people who played it, but there just aren't enough people out there who have played it yet.  I think that in 5 years, the game will be legendary, and that's when a sequel is likely to occur, but now is not the time.  In all likelihood, we will get something completely new that will knock our socks off.

I can agree with that, Silcon Knights has given us a masterpiece, great sound, graphics, and story.  Hopefully their next game will be a bit longer though...

How many copies did Star Fox 64 sell worldwide and region-wise?

Just curious...

Star Fox 64 sold a million copies in a single day in the US IIRC.  I remember Nintendo Power saying something about that.  It did very well in the US, but it didn't do so well in Japan.  It never even sold a million.  :-(

I'm sure the Rumble pak helped sales a wee bit... no?

Edit: I still remember the day that I got Starfox, there were a bunch of people outside of the Best Buy and the manager asked, "are there any people here that don't want Starfox"     ah, childhod memories
