Olimar has a great final smash! It guarantees  damage against everybody, and the rocket's a killer finish. I don't even use the character all that much, but I love that attack.

Did anyone else notice that the beam sword finally has a lightsaber noise? I thought they couldn't do that for legal reasons, though I guess they got cleared up.

Also, why do people with HDTVs keep saying they get lost on New Pork City? I have a little 12-inch television equivalent of a Cro-Magnon, and I can keep track of my guy.

I like Olimar, but I almost fear he's overpowered.

I kinda feel unstoppable when I play as him...

I love olimar, but he has no freaking good smash moves. I can get people up to the percentages I need, but I have little to nothing to actually knock them out!  Got any recommendations?

I haven't extensively played as Olimar, but his Up-A smash felt extremely powerful, and most of the kills I got were with that move.

All of Olimar's smashes are powerful, from my experience, especially if your Pikmen have grown to flowers.

If not that, his forward and back airs are pretty damn strong.

I like the changes made to Luigi. He want from my favorite character in SSB64, to completely unplayable in Melee, and now he's one of my favorites again. At first I hated his final smash, but once I realized that putting people to sleep or making them dizzy enables me to properly use his Up+B attack, I love it.

It has Olimar!

I would've chosen a different final smash, but the one they made is decent.

I salute you for keeping away from spoilers.

Same with me and Pit.

I've been alright just using their regular charged smashes (more so with Olimar than Pit); however, I need to get a lot of Pikmin to get them to have enough of an affect

One thing I am enjoying about the game is how the characters are more "on model" this time around. DK in particular looks A LOT like the original Rare design. I am also loving the small details like messy pieces of fur here and there. The facial expressions on the characters are great. Very lively!

I was playing a high items pokeball only match. A Bellossom and an Electrode appeared next to each other and the Electrode fell asleep! The animation looked so awesome, I loved it. Great little touch; I can't remember if I ever saw it in Melee

I finally collected the Kyle Hyde (from Hotel Dusk) trophy. I was expecting to be mildly disappointed, since it is one of those 2-D cutout trophies, but it is, in fact, really awesome.
