Would have been nice having you over Bustin. Maybe next year! I've got this great super secret free haunted parking spot that I park in every time I go to Anime Expo or E3. I'm always afraid my car is going to disappear every time I park, but it's been 4 consistent years and I'm still going strong!
My spot is K25.  It's quite possibly the greatest parking spot of all time.

But is it free and/or haunted?
Neither, it's K25.  'Nuff said. :P

I don't think it would be a big deal if you forged a pass and got caught. You might get into some sort of trouble, but its not like they would send you to Gitmo and waterboard you for it. What's the worst they could do? Worst case scenario they would throw you out, or they might call the cops, but as long as you didn't do anything malicious while you were there the whole would just get dropped.

I kind of enjoy the turn this thread took. It made me laugh.

In all seriousness, forging won't really work. They're pretty serious about checking badges. You might be able to get away with it, but I doubt it would worth the risk.

My advice? Apply for NWR. If I don't respond, pester me until I give you an answer. It works even better if you catch me at the right time, and you do something to prove to me you're easy to work with, enjoy Nintendo, have a good work ethic, and write well. Just ask J.P./James Dawson/Patrick/Alex Culafi/etc.

Or do what louieturkey said...except that won't work this year because we're bringing a full team to E3.

If I applied for NWR could that somehow give me justification to walk over to Square Enix and Konami and just demand random interviews? I can be very professional and articulate when the time calls for it.

What does full team mean?  Does that mean a max number of people from a legitimate site can go to E3?  If so, then it sounds like they didn't invite you Bob.

I would get there a couple days early and scope out the place. Look for a weak point and sneak in during the cover of darkness. Or...since you're black and can be intimidating if you wanted to be, you could act like you're security. Honestly,  this could be the best since you could have access everywhere. You could go back stage and help Miyamoto into his Link outfit, or help Reggie walk through the crowd as you beat the hell out of Nintendo Fanboys. You could also kick the likes of NWR from a game line and play it before them.

Full team means we are at our limit. The folks behind E3 set more stringent limits the other year.

Easy Solution:

I was also going to post the Rayman Raving Rabbids where they are doing the whole box sneak thing but I couldn't find it.

I managed to get in and went every year from the first one in 1995 up until 2006. In the early days they were less strict and even if you worked as a sales associate in a place like EB Games or PC World you could get in. I worked at EB Games for about three and a half years in San Francisco as well at Software Etc. years ago for about a year. I also worked for a local computer hardware/ software store in San Francisco for about three years. Back then I just filled in the registration form and faxed it in with a copy of a store business card. When I was at the independent hardware store I had my own business card.

After I moved back to the UK in 2002 I worked at GAME for three years and then at an Indy games store for just over a year. The manager at the Indy store got me in for a few years back then. Around 2006 is when they started to get really strict so I haven't been since then. I have gone to Gamescom in Germany a few time since instead as its easy to get in there as its open to the public. I may go again this year.

The problem with E3 in the early years was that there were a lot of teenagers as it was so easy to get in. It was actually really annoying dealing with them. That's why they've got so strict a few years back as its meant to be for people in the trade and journalists only. I hope to get in again sometime. I've still got one or two connections. The problem is its pretty expensive to go from the UK. Gamescom is a lot cheaper.

for whoever is going I have an e3 mission. Take a picture of a PSP next to a Wii U controller. I think they are about the same size, but because Nintendo uses tiny women hand models everyone thinks the wii u controller is much bigger than it is. Also, it probably is a little bigger, and there could also be an optical illusion going on.
NWR has permission to use any tentative mockup/artwork I post

It's not much bigger than a 3DS sitting in a CPP, man. I think I made a post with photos about this several weeks ago. Don't worry, though. I'm very positive that with the recent adjustments/additions, that it's an even more comfortable controller than the e3 model.

PSP or PSV? It's quite a bit bigger than a PSP.
