1) Prediction: Halfway through the press conference, Miyamoto will appear on-stage and live-demo Pikmin 3. Afterwards, they will announce that it will be a Wii U launch title.

2) Hope: F-Zero is indeed returning to Wii U, and it's being developed by Monster Games.

3) Dream: Nintendo Network is on-par with, if not better than, Xbox Live and/or PlayStation Network.

4) Not Gonna Happen: People say Nintendo is not doomed.

Is it next Tuesday yet?

For anyone who frequents the site, Nintendo has set up the official Facebook page for Wii U:

http://www.facebook.com/WiiU

So, a few observations:
1. It seems they're sticking with Wii U as the name, much to the chagrin of many.
2. The cover picture of a vault that apparently has a D-pad, circle pads, and a 3DS camera is causing a bit of a stir.
3. The welcome video from Reggie features awesome statues and a #Regginator tag for Twitter.
4. All of this social media push for Wii U could be implying some new apps announced for the system...?

Continuing the trend of stealing things from NeoGAF, we have the...

Nintendo Wii U Pre-E3 Survey

1) So.. how much will the Wii U cost?
My answer: $299.99

2) And when will the Wii U's Launch Day be?
My answer: Sunday, November the 18th, 2012

3) Your #1 Desired Launch Day Game?
My answer: I want to say Pikmin 3, but just in case, I'll say New Super Mario Bros. Mii.

4) Any pleasant third-party surprises for the Wii U?
My answer: Resident Evil 6 will be announced for Wii U, complete with awesome sauce RE4Wii pointer controls.

5) Any predictions of media criticisms for Nintendo's behavior/substance during E3 Week?
My answer: The usual focusing on what's not there (possibly Unreal Engine 4, no iOS games, etc.) instead of what is.

6) What'll be your preferred food & drink of choice during the Nintendo Conference?
My answer: Soda/water and chips/candy/sandwich. Not too much that I vomit from joy afterwards.

7) How long will the Nintendo Conference go on, and what'll be the breakdown on time spent between Wii U amd 3DS?
My answer: 70 minutes: 10 minutes on Wii/DS farewells, 25 minutes on 3DS, 35 minutes on Wii U.

8.  Predict:  rate the Wii U Launch lineup from 1 (worst) to 10 (best).
My answer: With Assassin's Creed, Rayman, Mario, Pikmin (hopefully), and more, I'll say... 8.5.

9) Predict: any final hardware revelations?
My answer: Will launch in black as well.

10) Predict: any super-special applications that Nintendo's gonna spring on us?
My answer: A surprisingly robust online setting.

11) Predict: who's the Nintendo fan most likely to be banned from this site during E3 Week?
My answer: Me.

12)  Wild-card prediction:  anything else?
Nintendo will revive a super obscure franchise/Microsoft gets rather poor actors to demo Kinect (again)/Sony chops the Vita price down to 200 smackers.

Well, that's what I got. Any other takers?

So Ubisoft shows off Wii U stuff before Nintendo re-unveils the console? That seems a bit weird, but hey, I'll take it. Rayman Legends looks great.

All of this doom and gloom surrounding Nintendo should give them an incentive to deliver a home run. Let's hope that's the case...

Also, here's an ad for SPIKE's coverage of the big event:

So aside from posting random E3 related gifs (like this one: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v247/DrForester/MyLittleE3.gif) I decided to at least say a few sentences on a few episodes I watched a while back...

Green Isn't Your Color - I must say, this is my "favorite" episode so far (though I use the word lightly, given my rather tepid reaction to the show so far). The Photo Finish character was pretty amusing and the whole "don't keep your feelings a secret from friends" is something that viewers could stand to learn. It also led me to see that a four-second video containing one line can get thousands of hits like this: http://youtu.be/FIjUMxEbJ3U

Lesson Zero - Panicking before deadlines and doing something drastic is something we can all relate to, I'm sure. It was pretty funny to see Twilight lose her marbles and nearly destroy society.

Read It and Weep - The nicest thing about this episode was the moral of "don't knock it till you try it", something I think we could all stand to learn.

Haven't checked out any episodes in a while, but maybe I will continue watching some day. Let me reiterate: I don't hate it, but I'm also not crazy about it.

Star Fox Adventures' planet was called Sauria, was it not? I at least remember that being mentioned in Star Fox Assault. It made for one of the more silly multiplayer arenas because you could leap right off the waterfall.

Nintendo put up their Nintendo All-Access @ E3 2012 page just a few minutes ago.

Nintendo E3 Presentation: Tuesday, June 5 @ 9 a.m. PDT
Developer Discussion with Katsuya Eguchi: Tuesday, June 5 @ 11:30 p.m. PDT
Software Showcase: Wednesday, June 6 @ 6 p.m. PDT

Speculate.

I was rooting around NeoGAF a few minutes ago and found this:

Seems rather timely.

35
Well, the control sticks should help people calm down a bit, but another note is the logo on the controller; it seems that Nintendo is sticking with Wii U. Guess we should all learn to live with it, huh?

All of this talk over the past few days has spurred someone to make this:

37
The console version will probably be cheaper and run better by June 5, but I may channel my inner J.P. and download it to have it portable and without having to switch out a cart. And then tell everyone, "I own it but haven't played it."

38
Midst the groaning and whining for Wario Land, this is something I'll gladly get. Glad North America got it in a nice time frame compared to Europe.

As a guy who's played half of the game on Wii and the Xbox 360 demo, I can attest that those versions require holding down a shoulder button to run (provided you use the Classic Controller). Not terribly uncomfortable, but that's probably because the controllers are wider and easier to grip in that way.

So, someone on NeoGAF made these:

We should all fill them out and share them before the big show. Winner get bragging rights. Person with fewest gets banned for the remainder of E3.

43
So basically, "keep playing what you have until we bring out another big game."

Suppose that can be done. Won't stop the whining, though.

Perhaps the press could mention the online problems to Nintendo? They can send out patches now, so maybe it  could be fixed...?

That aside, the game looks pretty fun; I'm certainly keeping an eye on it.

The eShop added a "Available Next Week..." category this week and...

VIRTUAL CONSOLE LIVES!!!

Kirby's Block Ball, to be specific. A sign that NoA hasn't completely abandoned it. Lord hope this is the beginning of a resurgence... Wario Land and Game & Watch Gallery 2 are calling!

We're all going to miss you, Greg, and all wish you the best. Though, you must return occasionally in the future or for big events, like episode 300 or if the site decides to have another live show at the end of the year.

Thanks for bringing a nice blend of charm, insight, and gaming tastes to the show along with superb editing. May the Force be with you.
