10:16  Zelda and Icarus and Pilotwings and Perfect Dark just weren't important enough to be shown this time.  Nintendo must really be behind schedule.

At least they're showing Other M.  And we get it June 27!
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Even sooner than I expected. Assuming no delays, there may be room in the schedule to drop Retro's secret project in August/September and still have Zelda for Christmas.

10:18  This would have been the best conference to debut Perfect Dark 2, Riqa, Killer Instinct 3, Mario 64 2, Donkey Kong Racing, Rebirth, Catroots, Die Hard: Vendetta, Too Human, Thornado, and the 64DD.  Nintendo really dropped the ball this time around.  A true sequel to Ocarina of Time would've been a bonus.

They told us the date to Metroid but not new trialer? I know its playable, but I sure would like to see a trailer.

Why?  Is it going to affect your purchase decision?

10:25  Nintendo was obviously too embarrassed to display it.  RawMeatCowboy might hog the single Metroid kiosk for himself today.  Everyone else can try it tomorrow after Nintendo de-greases it.

Nintendo isn't allowing video footage of the playable demos. That tells me they will be releasing official trailers of many of these games sometime today. They'll go up on the press site, and we'll quickly add them to our YouTube channel and post news stories with them.

March is WiiWare month.  Mega Man 10, Max and the Magic Marker, Cave Story.  What else do you want?

Meh, a successful enough conference with some good, solid release dates (Metroid: Other M releasing in June is quite the surprise...now I guess Zelda will have to come out this year, because Nintendo once again has nothing in the Fall).  I was hoping to hear more about games I actually care about (seriously, no love for Last Story?) and new title unveils, as this conference seemed to be mostly about DS.  Still, E3's looking now like it'll be quite the exciting show.

Cammie said at the beginning of the show that only titles released in the first half of the year were going to be discussed.  I don't think anyone expected Last Story to be released in 2010, let alone in the next 4 months.
