I watched this today and it really wasn't as good as I remembered it being. It was still a pretty good movie for the most part but when I was a kid it was one of my top ten movies, now it just doesn't seam to do much for me. I waited the whole movie to hear Mr. Smith say Dumb Ass just one time, but he never did.
I did find it amusing all the commercials for futuristic products sprinkled around the place and everything just screams 80's pop culture. Sucks that all the sequels had to turn out so horrible cuz this could have been a pretty good franchise if they hadn't effed it up so bad.

Twin Falls and moving to Coeur D'Alene.
It is official I talked to my sister today, she is moving into a three bedroom house and will let me stay there for as long as it takes for me to get into my own place. I even went a step further and already called ahead and got a job reserved for me at Dominos. This is what I have been needing to do, get away from my parents and other two sister for a while and just live on my own for once. Perfect timing cuz I already lost my new job today.
Looks like it's back on.

Anyone remember that show? I remember watching it when I was really little, but I forgot all about it until recently. Anyone else know about this show? All I remember was a mannequin that came to life if he wore a stupid hat and they said some magic word and there was a little mouse and a talking computer, and I think they were in a mall. That's it I don't remember much else and it took me forever to remember the name. Ok forever and a little google.

We had nice warm weather for about 2 weeks solid now and then I go upstairs to take the dog out and it is SNOWING! Not that I have anything against snow, I love the winter, but it is now Spring, the other season I love as much as winter and now Spring has already passed us by an taken us right back to winter. What's next no summer? Stupid global warming.

Is it just me or is that number everywhere? I am thinking there is some conspiracy going on that can only be solved by some mathematical equation nobody on this earth is smart enough to figure out and the problem has something to do with the number 12. I can't quit put my finger on it but something tells me that we are close to some global catastrophe that can only be solved by figuring out this riddle. Damn I lost it, I had the solution RIGHT THERE!
Think about it, most people hit puberty when they are 12, theres 12 months in a year, 12 is half of 24 and theres 24 hours in a day broken into 2 different 12 hour periods, we have 12 Justices in the Supreme Court, a Jury is made up of 12 people, Lindsay Lohan was 12 when she did Parent Trap, we have the Big 12 in the NCAA, eggs come in multiples of 12, the standard game of Dominos uses Double six which equals 12, when Jesus was 12 he was teaching in the temple, there are 12 tribes of Israel, Jesus had 12 Apostles, many countless Biblical references I won't list, other major religions also have important ties to the number.
The list goes on. I just never made the connection but 12 has always been my favorite number and I could never figure it out and now all of a sudden I just realized, there are way too many MAJOR references to the number to just be a coincidence. Think about it, the History Channel did a special on how the world could end in 2012. Someone who is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy good at math should figure this out.

Start with the worst way you have broken up with someone or rejected someone.
I will go first.
It was either tenth or 11th grade I forget which one but there was this girl that I totally was in love with who was a great friend but interested in this other dude. Well she had moved away and I started getting close to this other girl, her best friend prior to the move, and we started dating off and on but nothing official. Then there was a third girl who I totally despised and had pushed off the bleachers a couple years before this time at an after school event so she hated me equally.
So now I am in 10th or 11th grade and Prom is coming up, well the first girl is back for a visit and just so happens will be around for prom. But she can't go cuz she isn't old enough yet, she has like a year to go I think. Well she like asks me to take her friend to the prom cuz nobody else will go with her, turns out it is the girl who hates me. She is willing to forgive me just for this one night cuz she needs a date for prom and in small towns like this prom is serious business.
Ok so I am now agreed to go with the girl I hate but it's ok cuz the girl I was in love with asked me to do it for her and you cant' say no to that. Well flash forward to after school, this all takes place week before prom so there is little time left. So now it is after school and I am hanging out with my friend who is also the other girl I mentioned earlier and she asks me if I am going to prom and I said well yeah with ____ and she laughs at me and tells me I should have asked her cuz she wanted to go with me. This girl has been my new best friend for ever since the other girl moved away and they have been fighting and so when I tell the third girl I am only going as a favor to the first girl, she freaks out and says I HAVE to dump the other girl and go with her not just cuz we both like each other and it makes more sense, but now to spite the other girl.
So unlike TV shows like Saved by the Bell where this stuff happens, I decide **** it I don't care about her feelings enough to worry about hurting her and the girl who asked me to do this favor has left town already so won't know right away anyways. So I just tell her, I changed my mind I'm going with someone else cuz I like her more and she wants to go with me. Being the dumb hormonal teenager I am this looks to work out for me cuz the girl I am now locked into going with is much prettier than the other two anyways.
Fast forward to prom and the girl I dumped naturally doesn't show up. Come Monday I find out she got arrested PROM NIGHT for steeling from the casino (a major do not do in Nevada) and now is locked up for three years. She gets out and time goes by I forget about her and then I bump into her one day and find out it was cuz of what I did that bumbed her out in the first place. So I explain the whole story to her and she forgives me cuz she says it was all in the past.
The sad part is this girls dad was a good friend of my parents and I seen him in church a lot and so now that it's all out in the open what went down I decide to make it up to her by becoming friends with her dad and trying to be a better guy. Then he goes and dies from cancer right after finding out it was me who caused his daughter to throw those three years of her life away.
Damn. Now I feel like **** and it's been over five years since it happened but he just now passes away right after finding out why his daughter hated me so much all that time.

OK first some background.
I have a long history so I will sum this up as best as I can.
I moved alot with my parents when I was younger, ok so we still move alot I've moved twice this year alone. Anyways moving around all the time makes it hard to stick with a job for too long. I mostly did pizza delivery and cashier work for department stores, gas stations, useless crap like that. Then I saved up my money for several years and finally opened my own recording studio, the now defunct Mean Green Records.
Ok so I did that for about six months, things were going pretty good I published 2 cd's and was recording 2 albums 1 was a hot R&B singer the other was this rapper who was a lot better than i was and had fans locally where we were. Then the **** wad slept with my sister and so I had to kick his @$$ and lost him to another producer. Then the company goes downhill from there as I proceed to lose money and have to shut down cuz I lost my latest Pizza job due to a car wreck I got in.
I don't think it is a good idea to maybe mention owning a record studio when applying for regular jobs so that doesn't really help much. Then I made the mistake of going cheap with school and earning a worthless diploma from Stratford only to find out letter being unaccredited meant they were worthless. So I started up a little website some of you know about, which has made money in the past but isn't doing to hot right now.
Again I see no relevance in mentioning this on a resume/application so I am again back to having nothing worth mentioning. Then my friends and I started that gamerz jackpot website which shut down right after. Now the only thing I did there was create a bunch of videos nobody watched and created the ugliest and worst designed website in the history of the net. So again not something to put down on a resume. Then I get a job working as manager for another pizza place only to find out they pay their managers less money than what the drivers make delivering so I end up leaving after a week.
In the 25 short years of my life I have currently had over 30 jobs and counting. Now that looks bad on a resume/application so I usually pick and choose which jobs are the most relevant to the position I am applying for, which leaves gaps in my employment record and employers frown upon that.
During all this time I started a comic book with a couple of friends and we managed to publish one issue before finding out it wasn't a good idea to finance a comic book with tips earned at a part time job. So Again I can not put that on a resume either.
So have to write a good resume to get a job and think back on everything I have done, in school I was student council president so at first I think oh I will put that on my resume, only to find out they don't care what you did in HS so it isn't worth mentioning. Then I figure well maybe I will try something new, so I buy a couple of cameras, get some friends together who have money and faith in my crazy schemes and we set out to make a movie. Now my sister was supposed to be writing the script for the movie and her laptop (a piece of crap Windows 95 that has NOT ONE USB PORT) crashes before we can get the script transfered to my PC. Luckily we find a back up copy of the script on her other old computer that she thought was dead and gave to me to do with what I wanted. Turns out it wasn't dead just the power button was disconnected from the mother board so it just didn't turn on. I fixed it up and low and behold there is the last save she did on that computer. Sadly it is quit a few chapters from the ending so we have more work to do on it and now the investors are pulling out.
So I sit here with nothing worth putting on a resume but lots of crazy **** I have done and am at a cross roads. I have been unemployed for months now and with my record, and having nothing worth mentioning on my resume I am stuck. So my question is if you were in my situation (please only serious responses) what would you do.
So here are my options as of right now. I could move to coeur d'alene with my sister and look for work in a new city and hope for a fresh start. I could move to pend oreille and look for work there close to where my grandma lives who might help me out (not holding my breath but I'd love to move back there anyways) or I could try and see if I can convince my parents to shell out some money to get me into a real college and try my luck at earning a degree that is worth more than wallpaper. Then my crazy old dad who I think is going senile suggests the army. Now I am not sure how I feel about joining the military in it's current condition but considering A) I am low on options, B) I already have friends there, and C) with the rate my friends are dieing off I got nothing to lose anyways. Should I just say **** it and join up or see if I can geta fresh start in a new life somewhere else. the only other option I dare not speak of here.

Ok so I was at a Thrift store shopping for inventory for the site, and I come across a ton of old Atari games for $.50 each so naturally I snatch them up. As I am digging through the games this guy standing next to me ask me if I have the player for those games. So I say yes, and proceed to tell him how I have the other consoles as well for the different types of games.
Ok so he tells me he has this case of Atari 2600 games in his basement and he was going to just toss them out cuz he needs to clean out his basement, so instead of throwing them away he just GIVES them to me. So I grab up another 18 Atari games and now I have enough to put all the good stuff on the site and have extras left over to keep. I am now a happy camper.

Ok so long story short. I am working on a new project. I am not going to say what it is cuz I'm not ready yet, but I have run into another problem. See I am not the most artistic person in the world. At least not when it comes to drawing. I mean I usually have a pretty broad imagination (not that I show it here obviously), anyways heres my pickle.
Ok so I am working on this new project, sorta comes from an idea I had along time ago mixed with something I wanted to try that hasn't been done the way I wanna do it, as far as I know anyways.
Ok so the thing is I am trying to put my creation together and then I find out that although I am increasingly competent in the Audio Production side of things and I am getting better at the Video Production, I still haven't gotten any better at drawing either on paper or in MS Paint.
Here's the thing I wanted to hand draw everything that is going into this new project and then take digital pictures of it, then transfer everything into MS Paint and add color. Well this process produces much better looking art than if I try and draw in Paint to begin with, but it still takes forever and a day to color every single picture. I am a fairly patient person, and let's face it I pretty much have all the time in the world, so I figure I can dedicate some time to this here project.
Ok fine then I learn that MS Paint sucks. So I also learn that even though the pictures look better than they did before it still looks bad for what I am trying to do. So here is where I get to the point.
I am trying to do a short animated feature that I will be uploading to a new website I am working on. But I suck at drawing and am not very good at MS Paint (and I don't have access to Photoshop or better tools ) So I am kinda in a pickle.
Then I remember there are people out there who are better at drawing than I am and wanted to see if maybe someone here might be interested in maybe lending me a hand. I am willing to pay one for their work (one way or another) but it won't be up front. Anyways if there is a talented artist, or at least one who doesn't suck, who wants to maybe try something new, then like get a hold of me and we can discuss what I am trying to do.

Ok I have had this thing for over a year, and I have been reading every conversion guide I can find on the net, and so far nothing has come close to helping me. Here are my questions anyone with knowledge or experience please reply thanks.
First off, I want to know what is the best program to use to get GOOD QUALITY videos on my i-pod for when I play back videos on a Standard Def TV set. I have tried using Sony Vegas, Quicktime Pro, Total Video Converter, and WinAvi. For some reason when I use Vegas and QT Pro it takes FOREVER to convert the files and they always come out HUGE, if i use Total Video Converter, I get a steady converstion and decent quality but it always stretches the picture, even the ones in widescreen, and I always set aspect ratio to 16:9.
Now I know that the stpid thing is made for viewing movies on the tiny screen, but since it has the option of watching videos on a TV, why can't I get decent quality videos? I mean they always looked worse than a 20 year old VHS copy of the films. Now granted I am not watching these on the newest of TV's, it's either the dads set which is a Sony Trinitron SDTV, or the tv I have in my room, which is an older Panasonic Tube TV. For some reason they look better on the older TV, but always look ugly no matter what.
Is there a way to get DVD quality videos on an Ipod? Or am I just being too hopeful here? Also has anyone ever downloaded videos from the I-Tunes store? What is the quality of those videos like? I am tempted to create an Apple Account and just download the movies I want. For now I have been converting either DVDRips or Blu Ray Rips, or any avi I can get my hands on.
I was hoping someone here, Pro maybe, would have an answer for me. I mean Vegas does good quality .mov videos that *sometimes* work, but it always outputs the files anywhere from 2GB to as much as 8GB for .mov files! I tried rendering .mp4 but Vegas takes forever to do those. Do I just need a newer computer, better codecs, different software? Or am I just trying to do something that isn't possible? If I have to resort to buying the videos from Apple themselves, well that is an option but I really don't want to have to do that, not for movies I already own on another format.
First off, I want to know what is the best program to use to get GOOD QUALITY videos on my i-pod for when I play back videos on a Standard Def TV set. I have tried using Sony Vegas, Quicktime Pro, Total Video Converter, and WinAvi. For some reason when I use Vegas and QT Pro it takes FOREVER to convert the files and they always come out HUGE, if i use Total Video Converter, I get a steady converstion and decent quality but it always stretches the picture, even the ones in widescreen, and I always set aspect ratio to 16:9.
Now I know that the stpid thing is made for viewing movies on the tiny screen, but since it has the option of watching videos on a TV, why can't I get decent quality videos? I mean they always looked worse than a 20 year old VHS copy of the films. Now granted I am not watching these on the newest of TV's, it's either the dads set which is a Sony Trinitron SDTV, or the tv I have in my room, which is an older Panasonic Tube TV. For some reason they look better on the older TV, but always look ugly no matter what.

The long waited sequel to Boogerman has arrived! It is called Gooberman and is supposed to be a Wiiware launch title. It will be made by Probe and published by Acclaim. The game takes place 25 years after the first game and stars Boogerman's sun, Gooberman. It is set to be a 2-d side scrolling game made using 3d graphics similar to what Vector Man used. The game will feature music by Stone Temple Pilots and will also feature an online co-op mode where 1 player controls Gooberman and the other player controls Boogerman.
The new lad will also have new special moves such as the (alpha bet burp) a super move that causes an earthquake to rattle the entire screen and disables all enemies within range. The other new moves are the Shart which allows Gooberman to slide across the ground and knock enemies over the edge. The last move is the Snot Rope which can be used to swing across platforms as well as to tie up certain enemies. The game will retail for 1200 Wii Points and will launch just 2 weeks after the Genesis port of Boogerman reaches Virtual Consoles.
There will be 15 MASSIVE levels with tons of new boss fights and even new special stages such as one stage that has you tasting bowls of Chili at the state fair. The 2 Player mode cost 200 Wii Points extra to unlock and is only available upon actually completing the game twice through. By purchasing this game for Wiiware, you also get a special bonus stage unlocked for play on the Genesis VC game. No word yet if the game will be ported to XBLA or PSN. However official sources have confirmed a US launch date with the Wii Ware service. No word on weather or not the game will reach Europe or Japan as their tastes differ slightly from Americans. The game is also being sponsored with In game advertising brought to you by McDonalds.

One of the teenagers from our church died today. He was only 13 years old. This kid was pretty cool, he was the only kid in the entire church that went out of his way to shake everybody's hand. If anyone cares to say a prayer for his family that would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for bringing this up I just had it on my mind all day. Sad thing is I seen him around a lot and my parents knew him pretty good but I never knew his name until today.
