That's why the Speed Force is so helpful. You can just time travel a little bit into the future, miss basically nothing, and then send that hour's worth of personal messages.

Oh no. One time I played the game while signed into chat with a handful of other players.  Born from that chat discussion, I learned two or three townie roles, who the bomber was, and somehow, I confused a mafia member into including me in the list of recipients of a message to all other mafia members.  This was before the game actually even started.  We rebooted the game, everyone got new roles, and then everyone had a lot of fun, but instant messaging can make everything move a whole lot faster than PMs do.

Though, there's no rule against it or anything.
