Dwayne McDuffie passed away today.
 
 
He was hugely influencial in all things comics and animation, and bringing racial equality to the mediums.
 
Sad day today...

Wow.  How sad. :(
I remember reading a ton of Milestone comics back in the day - and I hated the fact that Static Shock ended up on a network I didn't get.  Finally got to watch the show when they recently ran it on ABC Family (?)...

I once wrote him to ask about the show being released on DVD and he actually replied. :D

You didn't get the WB? That is very bizarre that you didn't get the channel in your area.

I didn't recall him creating Static Shock, but I do remember his work on Justice League and watching him on a lot of the DVD extras talking about the show.
