I preordered this game.. If I don't get my OST from GS I'm gonna be taking some fucking names. Can someone please link me to the press release or some reliable source that states preording gets you a soundtrack, so i can go in with proof on the 16th?

Oh and I think i read somewhere NP gave this game a 5.5... can anyone confirm that?

Nintendo Power actually gave the game a 5.5 citing gameplay issues as the reason for the game getting a low score. I had high hopes for this game, I will have to wait for this one to appear in the bargain bin before I will buy it.

It's certainly a flawed game though...

It completely falls apart towards the end, has a nutty-stupid ending, and shows clear signs of having had development chopped suddenly at some point. The gameplay often feels very bare and un-fleshed-out. If you don't like stereotypical Japanese characters, you may hate this.

But, especially in the earlier parts of the game, it has awesome nostalgic and thoughtful vibe that I've never encountered in another game. It really pushes the showa-era nostalgia angle, and if you're into that (I am, very much), you may well love it to death despite the obvious flaws.

It's really a shame it didn't get more development, because it seems clear the devs lavished a lot of love on some parts of it.

It's clearly a Namco title. "This is the money we've budgeted for you. Now you see it, now you don't.";

I can't have enough flashlight exploration, cuz I thirst for identifying new imagery.

I want the game, but I am not paying fifty dollars for it with these contol issues that I am hearing about. Maybe on presentation alone I would be open to paying that amount for it, but I will probably wait for it to drop down to twenty of thirty dollars before I pick it up.

I pre-ordered this game from Gamestop because of the soundtrack. However the game came out DAYS ago and they still haven't even shipped it! Is anybody else having this problem? I was so excited for the game, but now I'm hearing other peoples impressions and the wait is really killing it!
