It's official!! With the release of Civil War, the MCU has crossed $10B WW in the theaters.

Civil War itself will cross $1B WW next week (currently at ~$950M WW).

and Disney as a whole just took the record for fastest to $1B in domestic gross from Universal w/ just 128 days in 2016 to get there. The movies that contributed most to that were Zootopia, Junglebook & Captain America: CW (Star Wars: TFA apparently counts for it's 2015 release).

Current Grosses Dom / WW:
Civil War- $296M / $940M
Zootopia - $332M / $970M
The Jungle Book - $312M / $828M

and all 3 are still in the Top 6 in theaters, and all 3 are projected to cross $1B dollars each.
Zootopia and The Jungle Book are far above expectations, with Zootopia having some amazing legs consistently seeing a rise in the charts after a drop. New movies come, and then Zootopia sticks around long enough to watch them leave.

All 3 Movies are really good, and if you haven't seen them, you should.

they will guide the DC Movieverse from here on out (gee... that sounds like a good idea, wonder why they didn't do that sooner!?) and it will be interesting to see how they attempt to make this all cohesive and fun to watch with a large bit of damage done only taking over after the 1st 4 movies have practically all been filmed.

and Suicide Squad underwent "major new photography" to fix it's 3rd act... and it was apparently not to "add humor" as was previously rumored. It was of course said before that it underwent "minor reshoots" (not to add humor), but major new photography sounds like they may have added alot more than just humor.

I kept thinking of doing one but BlackNMild2k1 always posts any news about their stuff in here making it hard to create a thread. Case in point, I thought the news of the CW's future 4 episode crossover might be a way to start the thread but he's already gone and posted about it here.

Years ago, my cousin, (who is a makeup artist in Hollywood) got asked out by Richard Dean Anderson at a party. She turned him down.

To the people who saw Dory, what'd you think of the Moana trailer? I liked it. It was a lot of just The Rock talking, and trying to hide his voice, but it made me excited for the film. My favorite part was when he did the People's Eyebrow.
