Deadpool just looks annoying and childish. I think by going for a higher rating they're going to be alienating their target audience aka 12-year old boys who still think lame jokes about dicks and assholes are funny.

But hasn't that always been the appeal of Deadpool, Potty-mouthed, 4th wall breaking (this dude wants to be Hokage, HOKAGE!?!) Class-A-Hole. I say let's go all the way. Its Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds, the guy was put on Earth to play ONE role and now he gets it!

Exactly.

I think the 4th wall breaking should be played carefully.  The trailer did a good job, having him look at the camera and tell a joke, but it could easily be him talking to himself...because we know he is kinda crazy like that.

This movie has to kinda play it safe in story department, so it will have a very by the books kinda story, but expect the action to be kinda crazy.

I hope next movie we get something more strange and silly.  I would love something as silly as just Deadpool going to grocery store...and crazy things happen.

The marketing team must be having a fantastic time doing this.  And they've been doing a fantastic job.

No doubt there is someone somewhere who will see the 'fluffy valentines day' movie based on the above poster.

Much better trailer than the previous one, and looks more interesting than BvS at the moment.

Current 2016 Superhero/Comic Movie Hype Scale:

1. Captain America: Civil War
2: Deadpool
3: Doctor Strange
4: X-Men Apocalypse
5: Suicide Squad
6: TMNT 2
7: BvsS: DoJ
8: Gambit

list subject to change based on future trailers
SS is close to taking over for Xmen. Another fun trailer and I might actually go see it opening weekend. Previous trailer was super dull, so I'm glad this one let the fun out.

That BVS trailer put me off ever since (and i realise this is small, but can really change the tone of things) Henry Cavill looks like in some of the superman scenes he's chewing on a wasp and hates every second.

It terms of fun trailers, Deadpool is far in front. Although SS has my attention now.

I was already planning on watching Suicide Squad if only for Harley Quinn. She doesn't disappoint in the trailer. I still don't like The Joker's face tattoos. Also,
And stop trying to make Jai Courtney happen. He's not going to happen.

I don't know, for the first time, Jai Courtney was looking pretty fetch in this trailer.

Looks like Deadpool is so HYPED in the studio, that they are already talking about the sequel

http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/reynolds-cable-and-deadpool-movie-is-being-talked-about

Deadpool 2: Cable & Deadpool

and it also appears that Deadpool is tracking for a $55M+ opening next month.

ranking high among both men and women.

here's another little ad spot:

Some of my countrymen are apparently offended over that video.  Apparently it's "insulting to Australia".  I think it's hilarious.  I think both senses of "common sense" and "sense of humour" are becoming less and less common.

*sigh*

that little as had me laughing out loud for real. mostly at the end.

and I hear the end was mostly improvised, which was kinda confirmed by the crew hand laughing in the background.

Batman

vs

Superman

These are the trailers they should have released sooner, next followed with a trailer or two w/ a little hype of Lex and Wonder Woman.

the last thing they should have ever shown, if ever shown in a trailer, was Doomsday.
they could have shown the destruction and action from the fights, but never should have shown him directly or really even hinted at him in early trailers. let the trailers continue to hype the Title of Batman v Superman.
Not Bats vs Supes... until Lex creates an even bigger an more immediate threat which calls in the need for Wonder Woman (and Aquaman and possibly The Flash), so all the fighting you are seeing is actually Bats & Supes & Wondy vs Doomsday created by Lex.

in other words, marketing for this movie could have been better, much better considering the expectations surrounding it on both sides of the screen.

Saw the BVS trailer when I went to watch Hateful 8 which is a great movie, go see it. Apparently if you can go to a 70mm screening, it is something to behold.

Nope. Snyder's Superman never worked for me and Affleck has always rubbed me the wrong way like he has a built in smug factor. Comes to think of it, I don't remember any Snyder I like besides 300 and Watchmen. Batman bitches about collateral damage while causing it, well done.

Suicide Squad is trying way too hard to be cool.

Also please stop giving Jai Courtney work, he is fucking terrible always.

Captain America Civil War is looking very safe boring acceptable way. Nope.

Might watch Deadpool though. Could use some no fucks given no holds barred assaulting joke making.

I find it interesting that their big promotion revolves around "Who will win?" when we know already the fight ends with some kind of truce.  It reminds me of all those videos about how Superman shaves if he's invincible which never gets mentioned in the film.

I can vouch for that being true.

I love how they're just having fun with it. With Ryan Reynolds being so involved in the marketing, he's either footing the bill or really excited about the movie.
