That's not his whole shtick, that's just a part of his character that gets overused in video games.

That's completely false, but whatever. He was doing that long before he had a video game.

Supergirl got picked up for series by CBS.

same production company as Arrow & The Flash.
And the "C" in The CW stand for CBS (The "W" is for Warner Bros.), so they could still crossover.

Supergirl being on CBS and crossing over would open up the Arrowverse and The CW to a much wider audience too.

Supergirl synopsis

Quote
"Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-el escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she’s been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be."

But seeing how they circumvent the Superman thing with Supergirl, I wonder if they will bypass the Batman thing with Batgirl.

I also wonder if not that Movies and TV will not cross over, link or have any association to one another, if Team Arrow will try to revive Amazon and get some Wonder Woman action on TV.

It can end up being a Supergirl Spin-off like The Flash was to Arrow.

and if you think about it, DC is absolutely dominating licensed TV right now.

Arrow (CW), The Flash (CW), iZombie (CW)
Gotham (Fox), Lucifer (Fox)
DMZ (SyFy), Ronin (SyFy)
Constantine (NBC)
Supergirl (CBS)
Preacher (AMC)
Scalped (WGN)
Teen Titans (TNT)

The CW is also working on Hourman & The Avenger
Amazon is on the back burner as well

I believe you misunderstood me. I'm not saying that this was made up for video games, it just gets overused in video games.

Either Way deadpool is at his best when he's interacting with other heroes.

It gets over used in comics and TV as well. His whole thing on Ultimate Spider-man is he's the only one aware and can interrupt web heads fourth wall breaks.

His most recent apperance in Deadpool, its not his only trick but its a pretty defining character trait and the movie would be less without it.

I'd be more interested in a Power Girl TV series.

But they'd probably miscast it.

Man if Sony is going to do it than, they might as well just put it in the MCU.

In the comic series Haweye, the titular Hawkeye's Clint and Kate have a fallout at the same time one of the supporting cast of the book is killed. There's a whole issue where the Hawkguy's mutt Pizzadog is the main character  and finds the body. The image is from deadpool vs Hawkeye and deadpool is making refrence that the dog solved the crime of who killed Gil.

Just go read Hawkeye its what the MCU hawkeye should be based on.

Some new rumors and news tidbits for the DC Cinematic Universe.

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/nailbiter111/news/?a=109047#wlw031B2cAGluvkk.99

-The Main Villain for Justice League is going to be Braniac. He's going to be teased at the end of BVS with him also being tipped off by the beacon that brought Zod to earth in MOS.

-The Current line up for the sucide squad is Blockbuster, Multiplex, Jewelee, Mindboggler, Captain Boomerang,Vixen, and deathstroke.

- Jenna Malone is playing Carrie Kelly the robin from TDKR and will be the robin for BVS.

coming from one of the film execs

-Wonder Woman is the Daughter of Zeus
-MOS was made to be the start of the universe.

Still feel that DC/WB is making a mistake by not including the TV series. If they're goal is to expand the universe than Arrow and The Flash does this in spades. Man of Steel doesn't have a actual date or time set to the events of the film, and you could easily set it after this current season of The Flash and Arrow. That way you have a believable move in technology from what pre MOS earth has comapred to what will be in BVS and JL. If the actor thing is such a problem, than with the exception of maybe Barry keep it to small cameos, since unlike marvel dc heroes typically have their own cities.

First DC movie after Batman vs Superman will be Suicide Squad
"Wonder Woman" movie coming in 2017!
2nd DC movie in 2017: Justice League
2018 DC Movies: The Flash starring Ezra Miller and Aquaman starring Jason Momoa
2019 DC Movies: Shazam (with Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam) and Justice League 2
Other DC movies in the works: Cyborg, a Green Lantern reboot, and new stand-alone Superman and Batman movies

so

2016: Batman v Superman (3/25), Suicide Squad (8/05)
2017: Wonder Woman (6/23), Justice League (11/17)
2018: The Flash (3/23), Aquaman (7/27)
2019: Shazam (4/5), Justice League 2 (6/14)
2020+: Cyborg (4/03), Green Lantern (6/19), Batman (TBD), Superman(TBD)

Now we just have to look up those announced dates and insert them. then compare them to the Marvel, Fox and Sony announced dates.

edit: That seems like a long wait for a MoS 2.... and a solo Batman movie., but I guess if they are in JL 1 & 2, and maybe cameo in the other movies, it won't seem like a long wait.

The untitled WB event film is the harry potter spin-off. I really doubt the Spider-man plans but for sake of what's been announced you forgot the female spider-man spin-off for 2017. If the rumors are true about spider-man joining the MCU, my guess is that were going to get an announcement that the Amazing Series is retroactiy put into the MCU and Sinister Six is the first film that sort of takes place in the MCU proper. Drew Goddard was the daredevil showrunner before going to do sinister six so if there's anyone who can bridge the two it would have to be him. I'd also say use this as the film to re-cast spider-man getting a far younger actor in their twenties.

As for the rest of the DC film, i'm really excited for their slate doing something different from Marvel, and how diverse the solo films and the Justice League will be. Out of the movies announced post BVS Wonder Woman is probably the one i'm interested in the most.

To fill in the Marvel balnks

Captain America: Fallen Son- 5/06/16
Doctor Strange:- 7/08/16
05/05/2017- Captain Marvel
Guardians of the Galaxy 2- 07/28/17
Thor 3: Ragnarock - 11/03/17
The Avengers 3 - 05/04/18
Black Panther- 07/06/18
Inhumans- 11/16/18

The list gets even more crowded once you throw in the 5 Star Wars films starting next year.

Yeah,

Oh on a related note I finished Arrow Season 2 and I was disappointed Barry didn't show back up cameoing as an un-costumed Flash.

Looking forward to The Flash.  I enjoyed Season 2 of Arrow but, I always liked the lighter characters better and I can't see Arrow going anywhere but darker.

We knew the flash was not part of the movie verse, but did they need to announce the casting of a different actor for the same character (The Flash) in a movie that is unconnected from the TV show they JUST successfully launched 2 weeks ago now, when we won't even see that Flash till 2016 at the earliest (BvS) and at the latest during his solo film 3.5 years from now?

I think that is the point of the criticism. Not that there are 2 different Flash's, but the timing of announcing the Movie Flash years before the movie and right after the launch of TV Flash.
It's more about timing that existence.
