Young Justice should have emphasized the Hero in Training side of things.  They did not.  Instead we had Justice League Lite.

Flash... Well I would enjoy a show about Flash for a bit but he is such a different character when he's alone in his Mythos and lore than the other heroes.  Much more of an Everyman hero he's hard to get right.

YJ is worse than that. It is JL lite with nothing but teenage angst which never make for good drama. The only character I like out of that show is Megan. She is the only character with any depth while everyone else is a cardboard cut out of their originals with **** on their foreheads.

The show should have been about them training and growing out of their teenage angst phase. Not about dealing with increasingly larger and more contrived plots that go nowhere while upping the angst. Mainline villians should be kicking their ass or ignoring them. This show seriously needed small stories where there isn't some overarcing conspiracy to nuke the planet. Have them fighting a big bad for a season finale is fine since you need a big punch up once in a while, but the story arcs should have been about character growth. Most of the best episodes from BTAS/STAS/JLU where either small stories or about side characters.

I don't know about the idea of having them training all the time.  The original Teen Titans didn't have that, and that show was freaking awesome.

The original Teen Titans had just enough camp, and plenty of smaller stories. The fights with the big bads were that much more exciting for it. When Slade would show up, it'd be an "OH ****" moment, and not an "Oh, this guy again" moment.

Oh, no doubt, TT got so much right... but the fact that they weren't always shown training and in the shadows of the Adults was *not* a weak spot for the series.

But one of the themes of YJ was that the kids were always in the shadows of the adults. The problem was they never really did anything with it.

I hear the action in The Worlds Ends was spectacular, so I have high hopes for this movie's action sequences. and if the leaked test footage is anything to go by, it should at the very least be quite interesting.

Ant Man is a reluctant hero most of the time.  I see his movie being very Thor-ish and much more Cerebral.
