Could end up being good (or at least good looking tee-hee!), but seems like a bad choice. Unless he starts working out he's gonna look like a bitch compared to Henry Cavill (or Christian Bale when he played Batman). Even his brother Matt Damon probably would have been a better choice (and would probably actually be a good choice). But I guess if Chris Evans gets to be Human Torch and Captain America, then Dare Devil can be Batman?

Ben Affleck... Just no. He doesn't act, he plays Ben Affleck. Jet Li has shown more acting chops in The One where he plays multiple versions of himself. JGL as Batman whould be fitting. Hell Tom Hardy as Batman would be some seriously gutsy casting.

Heath Ledger had the Christoper Nolan factor.

Anyway, JGL would have been a better choice...this has to mean that Ben Affleck is Batman in any new movies, or else they're recalling fucking things up. They need to reconsider and in fact just need go scrap this idea.

I just think he was a terrible joker that was obvious. People only say he was great cuz he died. He was a shitty ass joker, he was a great villain, a great psychopath but a shitty ass JOKER.

Exactly my thoughts. He did great as a villain for that universe, but as Joker, meh. Maybe the issue was Nolans vision for Joker and not the actor. What worries me about BA is that he WILL be Batman for every movie related to the DCU. The Batman character is essential, they can't pull a Hulk like Marvel did.

Anyone else as hyped for Godzilla (2014) as I am? Gareth Edwards is the director. He directed "Monster," which is great, but nobody saw it because it had no budget. From the glimpses of Godzilla they've shown, including prototype conceptual maquettes, they're sticking with the Toho design (THANK CHRIST). It's got a pretty all-star cast, including Elizabeth Olson, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, and Juliet Binoche. I am pretty irritated that they haven't released the film's 2013 Comic-Con teaser to the Internet.

I think it's due out in May. Pretty stoked. I see Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" playing during the theatrical trailer.

And also me squealing like a schoolgirl.

Daredevil sucked because Daredevil was a bad movie. Ben Affleck was fine in that role. Heath Ledger's Joker was Nolan's interpretation, and I liked it. It was different and fit that universe. I don't see how you could say it was a bad "Joker".

I think Affleck could be really good. I think he'd make a great Bruce Wayne. I thought Clooney was decent at Bruce Wayne because billionaire playboy is right in his range. But the Bat-nipples kinda cancelled that out. Anyway, I hope they characterize the character better. I'd like to see "the world's greatest detective" and the genius inventor that Batman is in the books for once. If this is supposed to be a fight, the Batman they've had and the Superman they have is quite the mismatch.

they also report that Matt Damon may be up for Aquaman.

So Hollywood reporter is that Affleck is has been going to the gym two hours a day. Also dude is signed for mutiple films and has the possability to direct the Batman or Justice League films.

Honestly if he does well (the movie well no matter what) this is going to shoot him into RDJ type of money. He's already became the toast of hollywood in his later life after having a decent starting carrer and than fading away.
