Is anyone aware that Shyamalan is the director behind AFTER EARTH? The marketing is really hiding this fact. I saw the trailer for DEVIL a number of times in theaters and every time Shyamalan's name came on screen, the audience laughed so it's probably a good idea.

Yeah I found out he was doing After Earth by listening to Box Office Poison. Still excited for it, I don't hate him nearly as much as most people do now. (I haven't seen Lady in the Water or Avatar: The Last Airbender, though.)

Don't ever see that Airbender movie.

Will Smith carried I Am Legend, but I'm still worried about how good his son is gonna be. Though, I liked Jaden in Karate Kid. Either way, the Tom Cruise movie looks better to me.

Yeah. I was a Shyamalan defender until LAST AIRBENDER. That movie broke me.

The ONLY reason i'm excited for After Earth is (after Hancock and I Am Legend) Will Smith is doing a darker more soured style. Eddie Murphy did that in Dreamgirls as an alcoholic and he was amazing then. Comic actors make better serious actors sometimes.

Marvel Cinematic Universe is starting to get really exciting.
after Iron Man, Thor 2 and Captain America 2 (which is basically a SHIELD movie) we're getting new movies.
Guardian of the Galaxy comes just before of Avengers 2.

just after Thor 2 is a S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show on ABC (fall 2013)

phase 3 of marvels movie plan starts off with Ant Man and then somewhere down the line is Doctor Strange.

**It's also rumored that phase 2-3 it's geared toward setting up a Hulk centric story line including a solo Hulk movie Planet Hulk and World War Hulk story wrapping up in Avengers 3.**

Hm, I really like the idea of Planet Hulk leading into a World War Hulk inspired Avengers film. I can't say I'm really all that thrilled about Ant Man (and Wasp) being seriously pursued though. I'd much rather see Doctor Strange, Vision, or the Scarlet Witch. There are others characters that I'd personally love to see, but I think their stories would be difficult to work around, like: Namor, Black Panther, and Luke Cage.

Sorry, I dictated the post through speech on my phone while driving to work, so I wasn't really able to check it. That was supposed to be after Thor 2, not Avengers 2.

Basically the reports are what you said, about the Hulk focused storylines. I wouldn't call them spoilers anyways, it would be like saying it's a spoiler to say that Gary Mitchell is rumored to be the antagonist of Star Trek Into Darkness.

The only live action Marvel movie that is part of this new Marvel movie universe I didn't like was Captain America: The First Avenger, and Captain America was so-so in The Avengers.

Captain America much like Superman is a somewhat polarizing character. You either like him or you don't.
