Yay! My copy of Tokyo Mirage Sessions arrived today.
Pretty good deal at $51.50 CAD, with taxes and shipping included.

Still playing through P3P or else I'd probably start on it right away.
Still dislike Nintendo's approach to localization - might seem like a dead horse, but as long as they keep making needless cuts to in-game content I feel it's fair for me to keep bitching about it. (Passive acceptance doesn't equal approval.)

Bought a copy of Lumines 2 (PSP) today.

Wanted to buy more, but the guy selling was using eBay list prices for everything so there weren't many worthwhile deals even though he had some surprisingly awesome inventory.  Kind of sucks to live in a small town and have the retro market aggressively dominated by one or two people like this.

Oh well, I landed a wicked deal on some used PSP goods recently (which I wasn't sure about initially, but now am super grateful to have) so can't really complain.

I got a PS4! :D

It's used, and still under warranty. Checked out four games from the local library to enjoy on this puppy. As for purchases, I got Killzone: Shadow Fall, Ratchet & Clank, and Mighty No. 9.

I like that game! In short bursts.
Sometimes when the world pisses me off too much, I'll throw on that game and take out my frustrations in a visceral yet harmless way. Also, the commentators are hilarious. Filthy, but hilarious.

Had my eye on this 8 inch Garden Warfare 2 statue for quite a few months now, but at over $100 originally it was way out of my price range. Now that he's finally on sale for a reasonable $50, I finally picked him up:

Bought Nova-111 for 1 euro or something.

It's even cheaper than on Steam for a change. Game itself is okay so far, the jokes are a bit forced though.

They also have The Swapper in that very sale -- check it out.

Can anyone confirm what pricing is in North America for the Curve games?  They've published lots of great games on Wii U, and if they are on sale I'd also like to round out what I currently own.

Daydreamers: Awakened Edition (PS4) - Don't buy it.

Dex (PS4) - Do buy it.

Song of the Deep (PS4) - Decent, but seems to miss the whole reasoning behind the Metroid design. WAY too much just terrible combat.

Gemini: Heroes Reborn (PS4) - Picked it up as a result of watching Kyle Bosman's streams of it. Looks interesting. Haven't really cared about Heroes since the disastrous 2nd and 3rd seasons of the TV series.

Inside (Xbone) - It's good, but I really don't see where all the critical gushing is coming from. According to the stage select screen, I'm about 2/3 of the way through the game, and it just feels like a less kill-crazy Limbo.

Seriously?  People, go buy ALL OF THEM right now.  These games are fantastic and worth much more than a buck apiece!

On PS4 I downloaded Tembo the Badass Elephant from Game Freak as part of the weekend Flash Sale. Also, got GTA: San Andreas, my favorite in the series, but that was full price.

On Wii U, I bought Startropics, Super Mario RPG, and Kirby 64. The latter two were discounted because I owned them on Wii.

My library of Curve games is now nicely filled out.

I always forget about buying online with Nintendo consoles - not sure if it works from Canada, but only because I've never bothered to try. I think it's because of games being locked to console that I forget it's even an option - almost all of my PS stuff is bought online.

Found a couple of Wii games at a good price:

The Oregon Trail - $5
Family Game Night Fun Pack - $5

Both were used, but complete and very well taken care of.

Not sure whether I'll keep both games, although they might be nice additions to my fairly large Wii collection. Apparently both are somewhat uncommon and tend to sell for a nice price online... so might get rid of Family Game Night Fun Pack after trying the game a few times with my kids.

Edit: Also picked up The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (Wii U) to satisfy my point-and-click adventure appetite. Heard the game is pretty good, despite a few glitches/bugs and it was priced aggressively.

Got some nice gems at the local pawn America today for the PS2.

And yes, Konami did do a print run of a PS1 game in 2008 and pack it into a PS2/DVD case.

Went on amazon to order some component cables for my PS2 and decided to order a copy of Radient Historia as well.

Today I bought Rodea: The Sky Soldier (Wii U/Wii)

I've been kicking this around, but in Canada retailers still want $50+ for the game which seems high when I know it's heavily discounted south of the border.  (Also hard to justify when I only want the Wii version for collection purposes, and am not really sure I'll actually play the game...)

Bought Epic Quest table for Zen Pinball on sale for 2 euro.

I wished it was on 3DS, but alas.

I always heard good things about this table which is mixes in RPG into pinball gameplay. It's pretty cool.

I also reiterate that Excalibur table for Zen Piball is amazing, buy it on 3DS or Wii U (on sale now) -- can't recommend it enough.

Grabbed a copy of TrackMania: Build to Race (Wii) from eBay this week. Price was ok, not great.

I've been trying to find good Wii games that I don't already own to round out my collection. Right now it feels like I've got "most of the good stuff"... but there are a handful of interesting titles like this one that I've never run into in the wild.  Some are outside the price range I'm willing to pay, but TrackMania looks really neat and was still affordable/easy to find. If anyone has suggestions for off-beat games worth playing, please let me know.

Also grabbed MLB Power Pros 2008 and MySims Agents, as both were available for very low prices. Power Pros looks like a wonderful baseball sim - the graphics are very stylized but I've heard nothing but praise for the gameplay - while MySims Agents looks like something that my kids are at the right age to play.

Brings my collection up to 193 Wii games, although a handful are kids games that I have no attachment to so the number will drop by a half dozen or so eventually.
