Microphone to GC

HI,
I just wonder if I can connect regular mic to my GC.
Did anyone try to do it? Does anyone have scheme (electrical diagram) how Nintendo's mic is made?

Nintendo's mic connects through one of the memory card slots, so no, you aren't able to connect a regular mic to the 'Cube.
