STRONG BAD'S COOL GAME FOR ATTRACTIVE PEOPLE

http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3167333

Not only has Telltale introduced Sam and Max to the Wii, but what about the episodic series for WiiWare?

Turns out to be our favorite mexican wrestler masked man and dumbo with a spinner hat. I'm tickled pink about this news, and you should too.

http://www.telltalegames.com/strongbad - Telltale's trailer, screens and more
http://homestarrunner.com/sbcg4ap.html - Another trailer on Homestar.com

I send my congratulations to the Brothers Chaps, so far its the only WiiWare game that I'm excited about.

Whats awesome?

Thats awesome. Even though Gamespot broke the silence before Telltale gave out the official press release, the Telltale blog re-assures April fools savvy watch dogs by taking the right item and "clicking" both pieces together.

Gamespot reaveals the release date as this fall.

Nintendo Gaming / Broken Sword DS Listed at Gamestop
« on: March 20, 2008, 12:40:11 AM »
http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=180480

I dont know if its false or if its old news, but I'm sure excited. You may remember Broken Sword last seen on Game Boy Advance, with that horrible glitch that could destroy your save file and force you to start over. This version is being published by Ubisoft supposedly.I'll be on board if the entire game can fit onto the DS cart.  Hopefully it'll do well enough to warrant the sequel on the DS.

http://www.4winmobile.com/reviewer/waveydavey/Reviews/BrokenSword/vga_1.jpg - Heres how the original PC edition looked.

Heres for good hopes Ubi.

I really did not know this could be done, color me suprised. Strap on your Classic Controller to the Wii Remote and use the control stick to move the hand, A to select, L/- to Flip channels left, R/+ to flip right.

By the way, this also works without plugging in the sensor bar, so this is perfect for gaming on the go.

Remember that Treasure game where Buster went through a beat-em-up styled side scrolling adventure on the GBA?

It actually got released at the end of last year under "Scary Dreams" and now I'm mad, because it was also limited in release. Phoenix Wright limited! Why must this industry be so insecure about their games?! Why?!

I want a copy and I want to go through a legitimate store

(Also notice Gamestop had it listed as Scary Game, way to go dunder heads)

Nintendo Gaming / Rayman 10th Anniversary
« on: July 22, 2005, 06:45:29 PM »
Theres yet another complimation you may want to check out, coming for all major systems except the XBox, there is also a GBA version coming.

However, dont get your hopes up, the console versions contain Rayman 3 and Arena which probably states a complimation is too quick in my opinion, but the console versions also contain RAYMAN 2, which may or may not be the updated version seen on the Playstation 2.

The GBA version is just another two pack game, Rayman Advance and Rayman 3 Advance, however if you dont own one, or either game, its probably best to pick up this since both are top-quality games.

Heres a couple of boxes (Which seem like mock-ups to me)

http://www.rayman-fanpage.de/rayman2/news/rayman-10th-anniversary_gba_box.jpg

These games definatley are real, but theres extremely little information out on them. But major retailers like American Wal-Mart's online store lists the GBA version.

Should the GCN version indeed carry Rayman 2, its pretty much THE chance to get all of the Rayman games on one system (Although, how are they going to hold 3 games in one disc? 3 Disc set?)

Nintendo Gaming / DK King of Swing

Just a couple of questions. Exactly when is this game out in the US?

Plus, is this game gonna be compatible with the DK Bongos? I want some more of that hot DK action.

Nintendo Gaming / Rayman DS makes me want to cry
« on: March 27, 2005, 04:53:01 AM »
Ugh, man, I cannot believe this game would make me get tired of going through Rayman 2. Probably since its been on every system imaginable.

See, the thing is, its not the port thats terrible. Its decent. Framerate is tolerable, the touch screen controls feel a little better than Mario 64's, and its a port of the N64 version, so while it doesnt have the extra flaura and fauna of the Dreamcast version, its still got a decent version based off of.

But as a DS title, its a complete disappointment, early press releases hinted at a multiplayer mode which is nowhere to be found. The levels are dark, which should teach developers of a thing called brightness control. Not to mention, theres no reason to get it unless you have never picked up Rayman 2, which is foolish if you STILL havent played it. But then again, some of the sequences of Rayman 2 are rather tiresome, and the DS version just makes them even more boring for some reason.

Not to mention theres no real point to the bottom screen, as my thumb is always covering up the neccesary information I need to read. Its so useless that you can turn on/off the brightness for either screen sepratley.

No touch screen mini games
No maps
The bottom screen is a waste, a disappointing start for Rayman.
Rayman Advance feels like a much better port.

Nintendo Gaming / Horrid Banjo Pilot Glitch
« on: February 11, 2005, 11:31:30 AM »
http://users4.ev1.net/~Bart-man/Delete/banjopilg.avi (436kb)

I dont know how the hell this happened, I dont even know if the testing department even saw it, but what is happening in the video is that every object in the game is stuck in place. You'll see some fire eggs that are stuck in place, and me trying to break free of the wretched curse, but failing ultimatley.

Oh, and I found this glitch.

Nintendo Gaming / Ridge Racer DS
« on: December 18, 2004, 11:43:22 AM »
Anyone else get ths game? I know that many are turned off since its a port of the N64 version and well...its got some dated gameplay. THough I'm quite happy with it. I just unlocked the Princess Peach Car (They changed some of the cars in this version) and it played the overworld theme from SMB2U music when I used it.

Ironically the track name is the same as the track name is in SSBM; Mushroom Kingdom II

General Chat / Tech TV is Dead, Screen Savers Cast Fired
« on: November 13, 2004, 01:13:02 PM »
I know this isnt the right place (Maybe it is) but The hosts that were on Tech TV's shows (Save for Adam and Morrgan) are all fired.

Quote

The merger between G4 and Tech TV was never meant to be a merger. It was a corporate take over, in which Comcast bought out Tech TV in order to acquire it's viewership, and then basically gut the station slowly, turn it inside out, and assimilate it as the new G4.     On the 11th, everyone on the cast and crew for The Screen Savers, excluding Sarah and Kevin, were rounded up into a room at 11am, and were fired on the spot, and told to be out of the building by three that afternoon. The Screen Savers is supposedly being completely revamped, and is being combined with the show "Pulse". The folks on and behind Unscrewed with Martin Sargeant were all fired, as well - just two months after having relocated from San Francisco to Los Angeles.     In January, the channel will no longer be called "G4TechTV". It'll be renamed and called simply "G4".     Thanks to the obvious involvement of Satan, it seems XPlay will survive this second revamp of the station. Ironically, I just found out my digital cable provider is moving TechTV to a new programming package - one which my family will not be purchasing.

What the hell were they thinking?

Nintendo Gaming / Midway Arcade Treasures 2 - Glitched Control Setup?
« on: October 12, 2004, 04:40:08 PM »
I cant seem to be able to adjust the controls in this game. For example, for Rampage - World Tour, I keep going to the Custom setups, but it always goes for the default control setup. What gives?

Nintendo Gaming / Mario VS. DK Level Editor - Where is it?
« on: May 26, 2004, 02:58:19 PM »
After buying Mario VS. DK, I remember way back in the early days of development, they had a level editor on the Gamecube, and you could use the GCN to GBA link cable to download and play the level. Any idea what happened to that?

Nintendo Gaming / I Really Want to Fix My Wavebird
« on: April 22, 2004, 05:03:58 PM »
See, I somehow broke my controller's joystick and Nintendo isnt really being helpful by saying "Buy a new one!" since I lost my receipt. But instead, I'd rather just take a joystick from a controller I already have and just replace the joystick. Sadly, the screws in the controller have 3 notches instead of the standard 4.

I dont want to have wasted $30 for a controller that lasted less than a coule of months. I MUST GET THIS FIXED

Nintendo Gaming / LAN Play on Serious Sam?
« on: March 30, 2004, 01:42:00 PM »
Come on, if the X Box version had LAN play, and if the upcomming Sam title for GCN and PS2 only has net play on the PS2 version, there MUST be some LAN option.
If not, what a waste of $20..

Nintendo Gaming / Could it be bad if other developers handle games?
« on: July 21, 2003, 08:54:09 AM »
We've all played Wario World, even though Treasure was behind it, it missed the great flare all Treasure (And in fact, Nintendo) games share, and recent reports at E3 found Star Fox GCN/Armada/Whatever hard to control and uninteresting. Could F-Zero or the other games become bad news for Nintendo?

Nintendo Gaming / Super Mario Advance 4
« on: July 10, 2003, 07:38:36 PM »
I finally got to check out the Japanese rom of Super Mario Advance 4. Some of the bigger changes is that theres 3 save files, and one that takes you to World E+ (E-reader world) Too bad you cant scan cards...

Theres just graphical enhancements and not much else.  It does share some similarities with Donkey Kong Country though. The R button acts as a B button as well, and you have the ability to select 2 player mode (AKA Mario and Luigi), which is just a hot seat function as well. Great for Game Boy Player stuff. Too bad that theres no Mario Bros VS. mode within SMB3 (But Mario Bros. is included remember) Oh, so far all I can tell is that Luigi doesnt flutter like he does in the other Advance titles. He still moves his feet fast but thats it.

On the map is the L and R buttons, L brings up your item thing, it now shows 4 rows of items. R brings up a 2 choice menu, but all it does is take you to something about the E reader.
