"You'll notice this is a call back to the fire emblem series" he says as two idols fire beams of energy in the shape of love hearts into a demon.

For the digital version you play till chapter 6 at which point
you will choose which side you want to be on. After that point I assume it downloads a key which locks you out of the other side stopping you from deleting it and starting again. The other side will be available at give or take 2/5 the price of the base, same for the third side but that will not be available until it has finished development. The same also applies for the physical version so you can download the discounted paths as if you got it digitally. The special edition comes with an artbook, trading cards, access to both sides and a download code for the 3rd when it comes out costing 9/5 the price of the main game. So the special edition is a good deal if you intend to buy everything.

Conclusion
Physical + Digital = 5/5 + 2/5 + 2/5
Physical x 2 + Digital = 5/5 + 5/5 + 2/5
Digital = 5/5 + 2/5 + 2/5
Special = 9/5 + Artbook and cards.

Hmm ok this is what was shown in no particular order.
- Points out ths genre is a JPOPRPG due to the large influence of music.
- Anna is the shop keeper.
- Voice actors were selected on how well they can act and sing.
- Music, dance choreography and costumes were designed by famous Japanese artists.
- Dungeons and over world were inspired by real life locations, developers had to get up early to take photos when no one was around.
- You may have to revisit dungeons multiple times.
- Dungeons feature puzzles eg giant maid outfits.
- Encounters are not random and can be avoided if you time a first strike.
- Animations are very flashy, could get annoying.
- A main story with side stories for each of the characters.
- You can build relationships with party members.
- Gamepad is your cell phone and allows you to text with party members.
- There are conversation choices that allow you to shape your protagonist. Paragon/renegade.
- Antagonists are the idolosphere(?) and feed on performa, our innate performing aspirations.
- Music will play a part in gameplay and in turn affect the over world.
- Combat system uses the FE weapon triangle and SMT element system.
- Leveling system is taken from FE, even the sound effects are the same.
- Idolosphere suck colour from the world and leave people with feelings of utter despair.
- Something to do with Tsubasa's lost sister.
- Fire Emblem characters are initially hostile but after a certain point join your side.

Noone else seems to be talking about this so I may as well.
The game looks balls to the walls crazy and was my personal highlight of the event, if also hilariously devoid of all context. It boggles the mind that they felt it nessisary to devote 4:47 to Yoshi, an established franchise which reviewers already have their hands on, whereas Genei Ibun Roku #FE got a tiny 2:18 slot without an explanation of even which genre it belongs to. For what is essentially a new IP they have done a terrible job of communicating what it actually is or why you should be excited for it, would it really have killed them to subtitle the trailer or even given the game a tentative title that is pronounceable by the English tounge?

There is also an EU sale, nothing mind blowing really but Fire Emblem 8 is cheap.

On stream right now it looks great, they also said Akihiro Hino would be on later to talk about the game. I don't understand Level 5, they announced they were announcing a PS4 rpg at E3 and it hasn't materialised whatsoever.

In the video Aonuma said that hyrule warriors 3ds contained "all the dlc characters", can you confirm if all the other dlc content will be included like the twilight princess and majora's mask adventure maps?

Platinum put other developers to shame with the amount of projects they are working on at once. So if they are making project guard what happened to project giant robot? Isn't it supposed to be out Q2 this year?

Chibi Metroid? Well it's close to glitter Metroid, good call Guillaume.

There are plenty of games they could have shown or at least held off from showing before hand, but they chose not to instead focusing on a smaller amount of games and spending waaaaaaaay too long on them. The pacing was absolute garbage and made their sparse line up look even worse.

I'm so happy for Huber! I usually go team Kyle with my bets but this time I am glad I was wrong ^-^

It baffles me how Reggie starts off the match with a half circle hadoken but doesn't understand how to recover properly, talk about priorities.

The Super Mario Maker segment totally sold me on the game, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a full price retail release and am glad they allowed the game cook for another year instead of releasing it last year in the state it was last E3.

So who do we think made this? NST?

Stand at the bottom says 30th anniversary, which falls in line with what Iwata said to look forward to more celebrations.

Can anyone confirm how stages work? Sounds as if they are offline only which would be a huge missed opportunity.

"James Jones will announce he is devoting himself to professional SSB Melee because it is the only pure, right, correct way to play the game and anything else is a complete mockery of what Sakurai intended the game to be."

I can see this happening actually, after all these leaks Sakurai is going to have to find someway to fill a 20 minute presentation.

"Duck Hunt released on Wii U virtual console day of press conference."

Well only time will tell for this one.

Sorry to blow a hole in your death star theory but Microsoft had a timed-console exclusivity agreement for Minecraft on 360 which ended in December 2013. Still doesn't mean it won't happen in the future though. The Australian studio Tantalus who ported Deus Ex and Mass Effect to Wii U said they have a new port in the works from a top "Notch" publisher.

I am glad Fire Emblem is getting more representation, while Roy certainly wouldn't be my first choice, he would have been very easy to implement considering he is both a veteran and a clone so most of the work had already been done. There is no point crying over Roy unless you really wanted wolf.

Does this suggest all the dlc is coming out tomorrow instead of a staggered release?

So none of the music is being reused? That's quite impressive if so.
