I'm not going to dive too far into descriptions or really pitching the games listed, because it doesn't seem worthwhile when online reviews and/or youtube videos will help you get a better sense of each game than I could provide.
Some added suggestions:
* Fishing Resort
* Mario Strikers Charged
* Shaun White Snowboarding series (must use balance board to be good)
* Rabbids Go Home
* Endless Ocean series
* The Sky Crawlers
Batman The Brave and the Bold-
I might be curious, is this an exclusive, what type of gameplay is it? Is it based on a cartoon, a comic, or something else?
Based on the cartoon series of the same name. This Wii exclusive is a side scrolling action/beat 'em up with a light-hearted take of the Batman universe where he teams up with lesser-known heroes. A bit short and easy, but enjoyable and nice production values from WayForward.
There is also a DS game that is a distinct but similar game. If you own both, there is some minor linking/unlocking possible.
Baroque (only if you are a bit masochistic and like old and ugly rogue-likes; I do)
I am curious, tell me more.
The world has ended, and suffering for your sins is the new normal. You have a chance to make amends though. You must die many times to progress the story, and trying to understand what's happening will be a long and slow process. It's quite interesting if you stick with things long enough; the game clearly isn't for everyone. If you enjoy darker stories that require effort on your end to understand, this game can be quite appealing.
PS2 version available; from what I can gather the biggest difference is the soundtrack.
Final Fantasy Chocobo's Dungeon
Crystal Chronicles is on my to-get list, I already have the Wii Ware My Life as a King, I am avoiding Wii Ware games altogether from now on. So my question is what type of game is this?
This is another rogue-like (a genre the Wii did surprisingly well) instead of a true RPG. It uses a super cute Chocobo theme from Final Fantasy, but is quite different from normal games in that series - more like a Mystery Dungeon title if that means anything to you. Pretty easy as rogue-likes go.
Klonoa
This one I am curious, I have heard the name before but not sure what it is. Might check it out thanks.
It's a remake of an old PS1 platformer by the same name. The Wii game is much improved from the original, although the PS1 title still plays well if you'd rather go for the original.
Muramasa The Demon Blade
What type of game is this, from the name it sounds like a dungeon crawler or a hack n slash.
A beautiful, 2D hack-n-slash from Vanillaware (they also did stuff like Odin Sphere and Dragon's Crown; this is in the same vein).
There is a Vita version also, which might be better if you have the system and/or PSTV.
Shiren the Wanderer
Tell me more this sounds intriguing.
Shiren is a long-standing series in the rogue-like genre. This entry is pretty forgiving, and a solid game. Of the three rogue-like titles I've listed, it sits nicely in the middle. Chocobo is more of a cutesy entry level game (still quite good though - I'm not using those terms as a knock on it) while Baroque is quote obtuse and old-school.
Apparently this Atlus-published game is getting more expensive now, which is unfortunate. Note that I haven't checked myself because I already own the game; only mentioning because I've recently seen people in another forum discuss rising prices.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom
If exclusive then sure, if its on PS3 or PS2 then I would need a real incentive to get it on Wii.
Exclusive to Wii. It's a solid "vs" game, but not the best one. Many people don't know any of the Tatsunoko characters which might affect your enjoyment, and it's probably less technical than the latest Marvel vs Capcom games.
Wii didn't have any great fightsticks that I tried, which is a shame because I find these fighting games benefit greatly from having something better than a normal controller. But the sticks released with this game are ok and easy enough to upgrade if that's your thing.
If you get this, be sure to unlock the Ultimate All-Shooters bonus game - it's not a big deal but is a nice little bonus feature.
Dead Space Extraction
This one is on my list of maybes
If you like light gun games, this comes very highly recommended. They did a great job of taking that genre and giving it a fairly lengthy and interesting storyline. It's usually pretty cheap too, isn't it? (At least it was.)
This had a PS3 version that might be better if it's still available. Not sure if that was physical or digital only. I haven't tried using the PS3 Move controllers for light gun games though, so take this with a grain of salt.
Ghost Squad
Sounds interesting, is it a shooter or an action game?
On-rails shooter, port of the SEGA arcade game. Plays similar to the House of the Dead or Resident Evil light gun games but with an intentionally over-the-top anti-terrorist theme.
The biggest downside is that there are only three short missions... but each mission has multiple branching paths and as you play you'll unlock new pathways, new weapons, character costumes, etc. Multiple play throughs remain enjoyable because of that.
(If you like this style of game, you should also keep an out for Arcade Hits Pack: Gunblade NY & LA Machineguns. It's a direct port of those two old SEGA arcade light gun games, and is pretty decent.. although I personally enjoy Ghost Squad more.)
