Oh look! It's a Kickstarter founded completely on nostalgia for a game from my generation's childhood! I haven't seen that before on Kickstarter!  ::)

*shrugs*

Meh. It's at least an Indie developer this time, which in my eyes makes this more worthy of having a Kickstarter than most video game Kickstarters we've seen lately.  I just don't see the point in an official sequel to River City Ransom when we've seen games like Scott Pilgrim which pretty much are River City Ransom 2 with a different license attached.  If they get funded, good for them, but I just don't care about this game.
There was a Signature here. It's gone now.

A few years ago there were some vague news about official RCR sequel developed on WiiWare or something... I was excited about that and Retro City Rampage.

Retro City Rampage was eventually released after like five years of waiting and turned out kinda meh while that official game have vanished i guess.

3DS in Japan is still getting Kunio-kun games, both on VC and i think they even made a new one (?).

i've played the Super Nintendo Japanese version Kunio games. They were pretty fun. This looks pretty cool though.

I don't back kickstarters, but I hope this game gets made. I adore Street Gangs...that is, I adore River City Ransom...it was called Street Gangs in Europe...just for clarification I don't adore actual street gangs and do not condone gang violence or vigilantism.

I like video games.

Gouge away.

I condone vigilantism when the target is appropriate. Y'know, like what those parents did to Freddy in "A Nightmare on Elm Street". Or when the Punisher kills gangsters and drug dealers.

And Batman should have killed the Joker years ago. Seriously. I don't know how he can look at himself in the mirror knowing that the Joker is alive because he permits it.

Batman should have killed MetalMario years ago.

edit: But seriously, why is Batman the only one who has the license to kill? Why haven't the Gotham PD killed Joker years ago? Why not Arkham Asylum staff?  Heck, why not Superman, it would be easy.
