Tomb Raider Anniversary was decent enough but I don't know if it'd warrant a purchase unless you're a real fan of the original/series.

You know, it's surprising you mentioned Okami because I was about one step away from purchasing and playing that game but I lost interest once things got busy in my life.

As for Wii games, I just got Metroid Prime Trilogy so the only other games this year I'd pick up for Wii are Dead Space: Extraction, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles. There's really not that many titles coming out that I want for the rest of '09...

As for other platforms, this is what I'm looking at right now:
360 - Halo 3: ODST (getting this for free because I won some contest at my college before I graduated)
360 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (don't really need to say anything about this)
360 - Assassin's Creed 2 (first one grabbed my attention even though it wasn't perfect)
PC  - Left 4 Dead 2 (yeah, I know... I love the original that much though)

What I meant by that comment was the ridiculousness that occured during the marathon, not the actual game itself. I actually loved the game as much as the other two parts of the series.

Has anyone seen the 3D render of Kraid that I guess was going to be used in Metroid Prime 1 (Magmoor Caverns boss)?

I saw this earlier and was curious to know if this was actually considered or not.

Agreed, I just thought it was pretty funny.

Your experience with Echoes didn't have any effect on your review I see. I thought out of sheer anger at least a few decimal points would be deducted. I haven't seen rage like that since this guy couldn't beat Pokemon Snap:

I'm surprised after the shitshow that was Echoes.  :D

thatguy nailed it! I turn 23 in one month. Anyways, I don't own a DS as I lost interest in handheld gaming after GameBoy Advance.

Excitebots
Excitetruck
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Anniversary
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Lego Indiana Jones
Lego Star Wars
Madden 08
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Party 8
Mario Strikers Charged
Mario Super Sliggers
Metal Slug Anthology
No More Heroes
Punch-Out
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Red Steel
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
Sonic & Secret Rings
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Monkel Ball: Banana Blitz
Super Paper Mario
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Wii Fit
Wii Sports
Wii Sports Resort
Zack and Wiki

As for GameFAQs, I grew up on it too. I've been a member since '02 or '03. They should definitely increase the age from 13 to something higher but they won't. I simply can't stand dumbass infants asking the same questions over and over that can be found by either typing them in the search or on the first page. Oh well, kids will be kids.

JayBayBay reporting for duty. I'm 23 years old and from Massachusetts. Owned every Nintendo console except SNES (had Genesis). Introduced to Mario at 3 years old... Umm...

Metroid Prime Trilogy marathon was stunning to say the least. Loved every second of it I was there. Although I love Nintendo, I am a very unbiased gamer that owns a high-end PC and a 360 as well. I usually stay away from PlayStation because they don't have many exclusives that appeal to me (I did own a PS2 however). I play Team Fortress 2 competitively so if anyone wants to join me, they're welcome!  ;)

Other than that, thanks for being so welcoming and extending the invitation to join the forums. The absolute idiocy on GameFAQs can get quite tiring sometimes...

I agree. I tried not to pay attention to gameplay too much since I'm going to be playing enough of it starting later on today. All my questions about the Trilogy were answered and then some. Thanks again!

Also, do you guys usually do these marathons for upcoming games where you receive the review copy or just special occasions?
