Wii sales are even less than the original estimate!
What's up with the declining Wii sales anyway? It can't be good... not going to pass the PS2 at this rate!

Wii sales in Japan will rocket once Monster Hunter G and Monster Hunter Tri comes out. The two most popular Wii games that came out in the holiday season were Animal Crossing and Taiko no Tatsujin(Taiko Drummaster).

I think its time for Nintendo to release some new colors for spring.
Maybe Black, Silver and Blue.

I did talk with a Nintendo customer service person the other day (getting a repair order for my Wii) and he did mention that alot of people have been asking for new colors. He forwarded a request for me asking for more colors (black) and said that if enough people request it, maybe it will happen sooner rather than later.

But maybe Nintendo should consider a MHTri Wii bundle to help boost sales in the meantime. It can come with that classic controller bundled in and have the MH logo on the side of the Wii to match the controller. I'm sure lots of people would buy a second Wii just for the limited edition run (and the included classic controller).

I'd like to see some new colours as well. In fact, I'm about to admit something so shameful that it must be spoiler'd:

If they came out with a pink Wii I would so absolutely buy it. Couldn't resist, no matter how much I tried.

I was actually planning on buying a pink GameCube if it ever came out. BTW, fuschia GBA rocked.

Wait, I see Tenchu 4 PSP but no Tenchu 4 Wii...

Does anyone know of more accurate sales numbers than VG Chartz on this game?
VG places the numbers at a dismal 30k. I'm hoping that's Japanese sales and the first month of Wii sales have yet to be released.

Please sell good. This game is amazing.

I was referring to JPN, but I don't think Nintendo is gonna share the lime-lite with a 3rd party before they do it with DQIX & X
Not to nitpick or anything, but out of personal preference can we abbreviate my name as BNM? thanx

I think MHThii is coming out before DQX.DQIX I heard was coming out in July.

So I expect a DQIX bundle.Maybe one for the DSi and DSLite.
Then perhaps a MH3 bundle then DQX BNM.

I hope Nintendo is willing to take a risk on an important AAA 3rd party effort and bundle it in with the system to help ensure that it will see the success that it needs to have. If MH3 underperforms, that is gonna send out a major message to all other 3rd parties that were either sitting on the fence or just waiting to say "I told you so".

Nintendo has made enough money to make a limited run of about 200k MH3 Wii bundles with the limited edition classic controller inside all priced for less than what it would cost to buy them all separately.

Well the Monster Hunter series is a recent hit in Japan on the PSP. It is fairly unknown in the west.I don't think it will have a problem selling in Japan. If it comes to the west than 3rd parties will keep an eye on sales over here.

I don't think trade-ins are allowed in Japan. They probably just put it on eBay and sold it to unwitting Americans.

Really? I always thought that one of the reasons the Japanese game market was so difficult for hardcore games was that hardcore gamers bought the games, beat em in days, then resold them back to the used games market almost instantly.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.
