I can’t believe Ganondorf’s fanfiction character Linkle is going to be in Hyrule Warriors!!

Linkle looks cool and fun to play as. And another crossbow training game would be pretty sweet too, although who knows if we will see Linkle outside of Hyrule Warriors.

Load time comparisons between without the data packs and with. Load times is on par with the rest of the generation (long), but having the data packs is useful. The difference is profound when using the fast travel.

Interesting, thanks! Anyone know how the disc with download packs version compares to the straight up downloaded version?

Also,  if anyone is actually playing the game, you can now get the Monster Hunter Felyne villager character via spotpass (using the laptop on the second floor of your shop). Collect all the villagers!

Wow less than a month until this game! Im thinking of picking up the strategy guide since the maps and quest info may be helpful. Or is there enough in-game tracking of quests and such to not need a guide? Are strategy guides even good these days?

I still need to finish Xenoblade.

The changes to the few of Lin's costumes are good.

Kairon, I just replied your message. That is looking great - you've managed to find a lot of cards! If you are able to get a second #14 that would be great, but if not no problem. Since I may be getting a lot of specials from you, are there any other cards you may need?

I will stick to trading Isabelle with Khush, though, since he needs a few of my cards. Hope that's OK!

Khush, I finally went through your list. How about: 1. Isabelle, 80. Eugene, and 81. Eunice? Are those guys still available?

Khushrenada- thank you for the welcome! Great, those three cards are yours. Sure, I'd love Isabelle. Is your list of extras on the first page still accurate? I'll have a look through it.

Kairon- awesome, happy to help even though you don't have any cards I'm looking for - as long as it means I can get rid of some of these doubles! Sure, moolah works if you're ok with that too (might be easier since we're trading a lot of cards)? I'm trying to reduce the number of cards I have haha. Money, eshop game (not sure if you can gift them now actually), some sort of credit or something maybe.

I'd be pleased as punch if I can just get these two cards! haven't had much luck locally finding them. We have quite a few extras between friends and myself that we are trying to trade off/sell.

[edit] Alright, got the big list down. Those two cards are still the priority, but I wouldn't mind finishing off the Special cards for myself: need 1, 4, 7, 9, 13, 14.

Aw, at first I thought the USB had the game loaded up digitally! I have the regular edition preordered for under $60 too (thank you amazon preorder price protection) but I’ve been debating getting it digitally instead. Well, I still have a few months to decide.


This special edition doesn’t look too bad to me. Some of the special editions out there are pretty ridiculous. I wouldn’t want all the gaudy clutter some of them come with.

I upgraded from a regular 3DS to the XL once there was a XL edition that I liked and my 3DS wasn't working as perfectly any more. The shoulder buttons of my regular 3DS were starting to die, so I was planning to upgrade, but wasn’t in a big hurry. The bigger screen was also appealing. Once the shoulder buttons went kaput and there was an edition I liked, I finally upgraded! It was so nice having a new, fully functional console, and love that bigger screen.

It does look like North America will be getting the regular n3DS in September, so you could always wait another month and see how you feel then! Maybe the models will shift in price following the price drop of the 2DS (we can hope). And if not, and it is just dirty battery contacts, you can hold off until there is a sale but know you will have an option between regular and XL.

We did get a Splatoon bundle, and NoA did say a “unique Xenoblade Chronicles X Special Edition will be coming to the U.S.” so ya never know, I guess! Japan got a bundle, EU confirmed to get a bundle… all black consoles so far though.

Unique colours/editions can be cool, but I’m not one to go buy another console because it’s a different colour. If I didn’t have a Wii U, I’d probably jump on a XCX bundle. And a matte silver one would look pretty nice...

Has anyone here customized their Wii U cases? Or other consoles, for that matter?

Dedede is one of the characters I wanted but disappeared before I bought in, making this restock very tempting. Looked at it long and hard, but am turned off by Amiibo hard enough that I passed on principle. (If Villager or Shulk get restocked that stance might change though. Principles only carry you so far...)

But but you'll need a Dedede to go with your restocked Meta Knight you're bound to find in store at Best Buy this week - and easily complete the Kirby trio!

Nah, completely get what you mean. I have not been as strong and ended up buying a couple amiibo. I'll just keep it at a few figures and wait for more restocks. I don't need them bad enough to pay inflated prices.
