i remember when Sony had PSX games at 9.99, now that was a great deal. Hell that would bring Wii sales up too.

I definitely hope the budget line rumour is true, as there are some out-of-print Wii games that I'd still like to get. Although I already own the listed rumoured games. However, they just lowered the price of Wii Sports Resort by $10 so if true, I don't think that will be one of them.

This is a joke. They lowed Wii Sports Resort by $10, but they removed the Wii Remote Plus that came packed in with it - a $40 value. Pretty much, they raised the price of Wii Sports Resort $30.

I wasn't aware of that. In fact, I thought it was still sold packaged with a Wii Motion Plus accessory and not the full controller. Is it really now being sold for $40 for just the game and nothing else at all? Because that seems a little ridiculous.

I can't find a listing that shows a Wii Remote Plus bundle, all I see are the Motion Plus accessory bundles (there's one with one and two accessories). Can you show me a listing for the Wii Remote Plus bundle? I'm just curious what it looks like.

You know, I could have sworn they started shipping Wii Sports Resorts with the Wii Remote Plus... but I can't find anything anywhere (aside from the Japanese version)... I may have made that part up (which means they dropped the game $10 and removed the $20 accessory... still not a great deal, but not quite as bad...)

Unagi: Thank for the information. That is still not that big really. It is not tablet like at all. It is more like holding a portable handheld...which most people have no problem with.

What I don't understand is why some people think the controller will have a circle pad(s) in the place of an analogue stick(s). The only reason the 3DS has one is so that it can fold up. Unless the controller also has some kind of folding design, it's still going to have an analogue stick because from what I've read, a stick still functions a little better than the circle pad.

I agree that it should be a stick, but that's mostly because I don't want to hear people (gamers and developers) complain. To me, at least based on my somewhat limited experience, the circle pad is just as good as a stick. Actually, I think I'd enjoy certain things more with it, specifically FPS aiming (I'd still prefer pointer controls, but if I'm using dual analog I think I'd like the circle pad better).

Not to mention scratching up the screen and spilling stuff on them. Especially when kids are involved. Its going to suck if these controllers end up being expensive, and I really don't see how they couldn't be expensive. Who can afford to keep replacing broken $100 controllers?

Kids 5 and up are better with electronics now a'days. Cell phones Ipads and the like are good training. I figure if you're kids don't always break your phones and other portable devices they will be just fine with these controllers.

Ok, seriously, Who here has snapped any of there handhelds except at the joints.

Nintendo knows how to make products that can stand up to abuse. Just look at some of the stuff people did to the GameCube and it still kept going. I have not worries that the controller will break because Nintendo has never released anything that wasn't made to take a beating. As Newscast 51 says sometimes its like a religion.

I actually like the circle pad over the stick (and the dpad.) Though I can see how people wouldn't.
